What I'm really hoping for is that many in the org. just wake up, they can stay or leave, it's up to them, but at least they know the truth about the org. For me it's no big deal, because the org., is man made. I have no illusions that it's God mouthpiece. Oh, yeah, they try to stick to the bible as much as they can, but as my grandmother used to say...They add yeast. I don't like the way JW's point their fingers at other denomination & think JW's are squeaky clean, and the only come back they have is well, The Brothers/Elders, etc. aren't perfect. Guess what nobody is. That's not an excuse, if someone is caught with a smoking gun, is that an imperfect person or a killer.

Have you ever heard that if you point a finger, how many are pointing back at you ? 3 fingers are pointing back at you. My question was that if anyone thinks God is protecting the org. I have gotten many replies. I'm not that old nor that young, but never seen an ORG. that is so Teflon.

To be vague, it sure is....Yeah, go out in the cold so you can serve Jehovah....DEAD...I have enough sense not to go out when it's very very cold....I'm not concerned with the hours...the hours only validate our egos...Jehovah don't need no hours, man does. We need hours so we can say to one another...guess what ? I went out in 3 below...& I did so & so many hours...I do what I can.

Many of JW's put many hours in & that's good, for them. Many need to be validated & a pat on the back. At this time in my life, I'm comfy in my own skin & don't need any brother to say ...Good JOB.

They are people just like me. How many have we seen in the org. that seem to be a good examples, always at the meetings, great comments, lots of hours in FS...then one day from the platform. "We have an announcement to make...So & So is no longer a JW". I don't worry about putting in time, I go about my life as an example. I try to treat folks the way I like to treated.

I like the story of the good Samaritan...who is my neighbor, everybody...I don't choose people that only look like me or worship like me, think like me. I talk to all sorts of folks & if they don't want to be a witness, so be it. I tell them what I can & that's all I can do.

Most people are pretty decent. I don't use the term worldly people, cause we are all in the world & with all the stuff going on in the world don't think that some of that stuff doesn't slip into the org.

I think I'm just disappointed that because they say it's the truth, they don't tell the truth....but only man said it was The Truth, God never sent a memo saying...You guys are the truth...meaning if they were the truth, they would tell about the ARC & let the chips fall where they may. It's only their Pride that keeps them from telling all.

The bottom line, they should have never talked about other religions. Don't point fingers. I've also heard many of the JW's say well they talk about us, then I say, then why stoop to their level ?

It's funny that you said that...after I posted it..I said...oops I should have broken it down in paragraphs...No problem. Will make sure I do. I hope you get a chance to read my posts, if you have the time.I kind of like them. You see I'm a JW & you just corrected me & I admitted I was wrong LOL.

In this life we will be wrong sometimes...and that's ok. No Ego here. I once had a boss that said, Once I was wrong but I was mistaken....LOL.

You make some great points...I do understand where you are coming from. But everything that the org. teaches isn't wrong, just like everything our parents told was not all wrong yet not all right either. You made a great point about a detective investigating a crime & be wrong...just like the police....they may have shot someone in error, but won't say so. I know it's hard to admit you're wrong...nobody wants to be wrong, but that's called life, one will be wrong at one time or another...I think you are right, something has to affect them to see the real picture, right now most think don't rock the boat. So you think that they don't believe the what's happening on the other side of the world? But this is pretty major, it's not like someone stole a cookie from the cookie jar. They much rather believe that the media is making this up. Wow. I guess they don't care if they ruin lives as long as it's not theirs. Amazing. I think that is why I shy away from having a study, because I know TTATT. Plus I have a lot on my plate anyways...having a bible study is like having a child...you have to put a lot of time in. I like field service because I get a chance to be out with the friends & most of my group, they are nice and easy going. We have a good time...most of the time, nobody opens the door or even takes a magazine, but that's life. My body is there but I don't drink all the kool aide...I drink some then spit out what I know not to be true...I have a hard time swallowing Jesus is Michael the archangel & that Jesus is the one on the horse with a bow & no arrows. To me they are calling Jesus the anti-Christ...aren't those horses going out are bringing in the apocalypse ? Plus how could Jesus open the scrolls ride out & come back to announce the next horseman. I think the Org. dug to deep into the scriptures & saw stuff that wasn't there. I can read the bible & know sometimes or most of the time they way they present the scriptures isn't really true. But one has to read for themselves. But most don't because the org. tells you & for some it's better that way because they are too lazy to find out if it's true...All their answer is, is Jehovah said so...& so does the bible. I know some of them know what's going on that is why they are suppressed not depressed....Someone wrote on this forum....I don't mind questions I can't answer but I don't like answers that I can't question....Profound.

Hi All,

Love all of your comments. I was asking if Jehovah is letting the org. down easy because so many would be hurt mentally, because the org. is all they have. Or should I say what they chose to only have. I have spoken to many of them & don't want to generalize, but I don't think many come from well balanced homes...not that anyone has, but most witnesses have some strange beginnings. Even some that have family in, I've noticed at times they don't even sit next to them at the hall. There are some that are related, & you don't find out until later, from someone else. I come from a pretty good home life...not perfect, but I'm able to cope with life. I once remember on this site a person found out TTATT, & they almost went into a deep depression. It rocked their world. Someone also mentioned here, this subject that other cults have this problem, well how did they find out, word of mouth, the media, but with the org. it seems to be isolated. No one on this side of the world is talking about it...not one peep. I think it's an elephant in the room & folks know, because how can one not know & we have the internet. Another question to all of you...Do you think most know but too shocked & afraid to say anything because they have been pointing fingers at other religions...The word pride comes to mind...& we all know pride comes before the fall, & who was the first to fall because of pride...you got it Satan. The org. is accountable. But I think because they did point fingers, they will stand by their org. no matter what. It's like talking about other people's children & then come to find out that your kids are doing the same thing or even worse. That's a lot of egg on ones face. Being a part of God's org. is a badge of honor for majority of witnesses..they feel special where otherwise they have no power. They feel privy to carry Jehovah's name...no matter if the doctrine does flip flop....They are not there because it's the truth they are there because they feel chosen just like the Jews who they look down because they feel chosen too. I've even heard some say, we are carrying Jehovah's name...just like a female who finally gets married & carries her husbands name...she so proud...the husband could be crazy as a bed bug but she's so happy to have a Huuuus'band...I came in with my eyes wide open & never thought it was God's org. 'Cuz God isn't partial. Why would he look down at Penn. & say, ah, that's them, yep, them the ones I want to carry my name...NOT... Most of them are depressed, have more ailments then one could name....hate to work, complain everything is expensive, yet, most of them own homes & nice cars (well on my side of the world, that is)...They complain that things are expensive just to sound lowly & that they agree with God about how this system is. They have the money to do what they want, but just don't want to tell anyone because they would have to help their fellow man, so might as well cry broke, so they don't have to help anyone. Most know the scriptures but don't apply them...we talk about love all the time & you can see their busy pens writing about love...but you can't write it it's something you have to feel. Many of them didn't come up in a loving home, so they don't have any experience with it. I'm just happy that Jesus didn't have any kids, because more than half of the JW's would say they are his descendants...it would really be a bigger mess. I do like the fact that some of your said....if God was protecting, then why not protect the children....great thought. I was just curious of how some felt about this...I dare not talk to anyone in my hall....so that's why I'm on this site, just so I can vent & see that others see what I see, even more than I see. Even if you are a die hard JW...you have to admit that the brothers should have directed them to the police & you know that....you are saying to wait on God, because you don't want the org. to have to be accountable & hope that's just because it's on the other side of the world it will die down & the org. can go back to business as usual. God doesn't need any of us to carry his name or to sanctify his name...He's God all by himself. He just allows us humans to do something for him to keep us busy otherwise we would get into more trouble. That's why many are JW's if left without field service, meetings, etc, they would get into trouble. I hope we all stay in contact on different subjects. But no matter what...The brothers should have told the police...bottom line. That's the only question that should be answered to the point. Yes or No, & if not...Why?

Hi All,

I've been thinking this for a while. Even before the ARC scandal. It seems no matter what, the ORG. lives on. But ever since the ARC, I've been reading many of the post regarding it & nothing comes out of it. The org. doesn't want to comply, the ARC doesn't really want to let them have it & tell them what they are doing is wrong & do something about it. It just seems folks are dragging it out. To me it's a clear cut case....the brothers never told the police & also told the victims not to tell the police. That is the meat & potatoes of the scandal. 2 witness rule (ah, who would molest a child if they had a witness or audience) ? The victim has to face their abusers..blah blah blah...Bottom line...The Judge or whatever the head of this thing is should ask point blank to the Brothers....WHY DID YOU TELL THEM NOT TO TELL THE POLICE... maybe I'm naïve, but that's cut & dry...to me that's a question that would make them squirm. No matter how they would come with some convoluded answer, I would continue to ask....WHY DID YOU TELL THEM NOT TO TELL THE POLICE..I would sound like a broken record. First they would have to admit they told them & 2nd if they didn't tell them, why didn't they tell them to go to the police ? Either way....they are wrong. Do you think Jehovah is protecting the org. because if the ORG. would admit it many would just fall apart....any thoughts ?PS: The answer is that they pointed fingers at other religions & they can't handle it if the fingers get pointed back at them...The pot calling the kettle black.

What were Satan and his demons "doing" up in heaven, before being "cast down" in 1914?

i was just thinking about how the wts has been spouting off for years that satan and his demons were cast down to the vicinity of the earth in 1914, but really, when you think about it, what was the difference before 1914 or after 1914?.

its not like satan and his demons did not have access to the earth.

Matt. 28:18:Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth". That was way before 1914, & maybe that's when Satan was tossed out of Heaven forever...God didn't want Satan & Jesus in the same space. It's difficult to really know from the bible because it's written where at times you can't figure if some things are written for the future or the past...Did the war in heaven break out already or in the future, & if in the future, than Satan is still going back and forth from Heaven & Earth....

and how long does it last,....... no not that again (one track minds) how many looks are you addicted to a day?

keep coming back to see anything new, or do you look at posters who you know from experience have comments that will interest you?.

I come to this site all the time...just to see the latest. To see if any big newspapers/media has been able to talk about the elephant in the room...THE ARC...Sometimes I wonder, does Jehovah protect this org. you noticed I didn't say...HIS ORG. Abuse stories are popping up all over the place..& still crickets..I don't get it. The org. says they are lies....how could a thousand or so cases be lies. Maybe I'm stupid, but if someone abused my child, I'd go to the police first...no matter what the elders say. & This 2 witness rule....uh? who would commit a crime like that when someone was around...most of this stuff is done in private...duh? I think the org. provides some type of comfort to some who never had it...What I'm noticing is that most of them had parents but where never nurtured. I come from a loving home...I fell into being a witness...with my eyes wide open...now how long will I stay...ummm... who knows...

I'm kind of new to the org. myself & different from others, I knew TTATT, before I came in. I was not impressed that it was supposed to be God's Organization, & since I've been there for a while, I still don't think it's God's org. Being that we read the bible from cover to cover, when God says something it comes true...we have never seen in the bible that God told something to someone & it didn't come true...not once not ever. Never a new light, or old light. What I can thank the org. for is learning what THE BIBLE REALLY SAYS..Sometimes the org. is right but most of the time, it's their own interpretation. So all that to say this....when you go in the room...Stick to your story & it is...I believe the Bible not Man...& keep repeating that at every question. I'm not suggesting you do it only if you want, just a suggestion. But it would be very difficult for them to combat that answer (or so I think). I think the best way to beat them is to use what they use...THE BIBLE....I was thinking if one day I mess up..& believe me...we all mess up...but I was thinking if I ever get called in the room...I would use the scripture they took out the Bible ...it's not in the revised NWT, it's the scripture where a crowd brings a woman who has committed adultery, & Jesus draws a line in the sand & says, if anyone here has not sinned, cross the line...& when he turned around...nobody was there. I would love to make a copy of it & leave it with the brothers. I don't know if this will work, again I'm new, but I've seen & heard a lot..I'm so happy I've found this site...it keeps me sane & a place to vent, until I can figure a way out of this madness. I'm ok and try not to spend to much time with the friends...they got issues & I don't...oh, I have a few nuts loose but I'm functional. There are so many smart folks on this site...it boggles the mind but they make you feel that it's not you & that your faith is not weak...One can believe in God without being in the org. The org. is a place to socialize, if you choose. I wish you & your family all the best. You say your husband is an Elder, you have to understand some people have no identity or power outside the org. so being an elder in God's org., is all they have, otherwise they would just be a regular person & many people are not satisfied just being part of a crowd. Being a JW makes folks feel important, because they feel they carry Jehovah's name, they find it a priviledge. Not that God himself gave them the privy, but man did, & many feel chosen, yet they judge the Jewish folks because they say, they are the chosen...I could go on but I think you see my point. I believe in God, not so much in what man says about God, but what he is in the Bible. Well, that's my 2 cents...in their words...Stand firm.

hello people.. i'm tired and a bit sick at the moment but i can't let anyone think that this is going to go away.... i am able to tell you a few things in order to prevent any confusion in the minds of those who are thinking that nothing will come of this arc;that nothing will effect the wtbts in america and other places.. i have been there and given my testimony.

helen milroy and her assistants were there along with another group of people who are there to lend assistance if you crack up at any time during or after the hearing.

i did not crack up but can see how this happens.. security is tight and anonymity is sacred to them as they want to protect all who come forward.

I see your point. Sometimes I want justice so much I don't see the bigger pix. But you make good sense. I also like your "Another Point" I agree, I think they know but can't let on they know. Sometimes, & maybe it's my wishful thinking I think I recognize one or two on this site that I feel I go to the hall with, but can't tell, it's just that the stories line-up. They do try to act like they are not interested in the news, but I think they know more than they are letting on. I'm asking your view (only answer if you wish). I've commented on this site several time in the past & in the present. My take on the friends is that more than anything they feel chosen (God's organization), so maybe that's why they don't want to rock the boat. Sure they feel uneasy about things but to me what stands out in all of their comments is..."Well, this is the truth & this is God's org". Could that be the driving force in them sticking their heads in the sand ? I think that's why so many of them are sick....they know something isn't right but they much rather forsake their health than admit...maybe this isn't God's only org. This might just appeal to their elite'us (spelling ?) personality. They have a need to be part of something that makes them stand out & noticed. Their pride won't let them admit something isn't right. Steve, thanks so much for replying to me. Most here don't, but it doesn't matter, but at least I get to vent here. I thank all of you on this site, you have made me feel, I'm not alone in what I observe. I think we all have questioned our faith at one time or another & think to ourselves, maybe I'm crazy, maybe I don't read as well as I think I do. If it walks & talks like a duck..then that's what it is. Also, because many do believe it's God's org. they are too embarrassed to even admit because of all the folks they have shunned or disassociated with..that would be a lot of egg on their faces. They accuse other religions of being deceitful & they felt safe in the org....UNTIL NOW...I think too much is happening to ignore.
