I handed in my letter of resignation personally to the congregation secretary. Then I messaged my best friends, the ones in the so called "truth", what I had done, and the reason in my letter being "news coverage worldwide that the JW religion protects paedophiles and throws the victims under the bus, so it is no different to the Catholic church I left". The woman who was my tutor before I got baptized put a scribbled bit of paper through my door full of evil lies and accusations she has dreamt up, the worst bit saying "You must know that you now work for the devil and the demons". I got really upset at her shocking speech. Fortunately, Wednesday morning, my best friend put a note in the door, letting me know, as requested by me, that they announced I was "no longer a JW" at Tuesday night's meeting. I felt so happy! So free! Am able to breathe again. Thank you Yahweh! In the letter, I asked the elders to respect my wishes never to contact me again, and for my address to be a permanent Do Not Call. Yes - The best thing for me was to excommunicate the elders 😂

I've always found the weekday meeting confusing - stopped doing student talks years ago because of illhealth. I remember being so stressed beforehand, oh dear.
Really enjoyed the November broadcast and am over the moon I no longer have to remember to count time, rv's and placements. Ordered a hard copy of the new brochure - will make introductions less rigid.

Strange question to ask in the first place. "Let's wait and see" is my usual thought when I read about what is going to happen, in what order. A Watchtower study article pointed out that the annointed do not have access to more holy spirit than the other sheep so why accept everything printed by the Society? -

Bizarre that only publishers don't have to count hours, rv's or placements. The high society status of pioneers will go up even more and they will feel more self righteous about not socializing with publishers. Not sure why titles and reports are necessary at all - Can't imagine Jesus promoting a ladder climbing career for his followers, and aren't we supposed to not let the right hand know what the left hand is doing?
On the plus side, this is the first time I can't wait for the new broadcast

while i personally experienced several more acts where jw elders lied to me personally, the following is the most serious because it involved brother a. i mentioned him earlier where he was lied to by the jc and they used a confidential file against him that they developed over ten years a file he was never allowed to see or defend himself against.. sometime between january 1993, the jw elders on the jc were in the final stages of their meeting with brother a. this was before his first appeal.

unfortunately elders will happily lie in order to protect someone in their clique. the whole getalong gang will twist the scriptures and make the complainer of the gross sinner look like the "unpeaceable" one. i am completely floored. feel like i can't trust anyone. none of those liars will see my eyes again. they have really stumbled me from attending my own congregation. Many watchtower studies about elders are more like "Fantasy Island".
