Akid48, I think I understand what u mean. You expected the first priority for the wt is to help the hurricane victims. But what you hear them saying at the kh is that it is the sign of the end.They are not eager to help.

When I was told to read Deut 13, before I read it, I knew that it must have something to do with killing pagan believers. So I am prepared b4 I read it. So true enough, they were instructed to kill the inhabitants of the land even the cattle.... what? even the cattles? What about the babies then? i remember having this feeling when i was younger that something was off when it came to meetings and the people there seemed just off.i had feelings like that when i was like 5 or 6 and i would say i was kinda dumb back then but still i had a feeling like that when i would not have that often.still to this day i dont know what got me to have that feeling i was just wanting to know if any had this feeling to and still cant remember what made your mind give you a red flag..
One more thing is i dont sleep the best so when i have to go to meeting and go pass the time i go to sleep for school.
why don't you tell your dad you headache, cannot go meeting.
When I don't feel like going to meetings, I tell my dad I headache, my leg cramp in school after basketball, etc...sometimes it works but sometimes it didn't...need to sign up for acting class. :{
But if I fail at plan A, I have plan B. At the meeting, I closed my eyes and pretend to be sick. I no need to participate in the meeting....Haha..maybe the people here in this forum will PM you and tell you not to mix around with me..I bad influence...

in my kingdom hall people see me as rude but to me i dont understand how.for me having to talk to adults is not bad but for me its one thing if i dont know you and so i have my guard up at all times and i have a fuck off tone in my voice.but some of the brothers seem they like kids to much.. one more thing i have the a fuck off tone some times is because a lot of brothers i kinda know (hint kinda know) ask me about my school life.what i mean is not ''hey how's school?

I think the jw dislike me more than you. They often say when I was younger, I am very obedient but now have changed. I do things very unwilling. I think they never go through the growing up process...They say I worldly...like to mix around with unbelievers...

my family has been nice acting after a family member eavesdropped on me and learn that i don't like jws any more.but how mad and the feeling of getting backstabed when i had my hole family got mad at me at one time.i love my family and understand why they acted that way but that feeling of getting backstabed never goes away i have tryed to put the feeling in back of my mind but he always comes back when i talk to a family..

My friends start gathering around me asking why I leave. Got so annoyed by it.

i have look around and im counting 5-18 for young aka kids or teens we only have 4 includeing me that can think on there own and are teens.the only other kids there are 3 5 or to young to even think that there mom or dad are wrong on any thing.. just wanting to know if any if any one see this at a kingdom hall..
Why do you think I hate to attend meetings? No KH here in my country. We meet in small groups. I was the only teen in the group.
A year ago, I can still meet another 2 teens during the assembly. But now, they are in detention barracks for taking a stand on the military issue.
There is another teen. An elder's son. A 'holier than thou' type of person. I can't click with him.

Read Deuteronomy 13, then think about how it compares to what you wrote above...remember, Deut. 13 is just a single chapter. There's a lot more similar verses in the Bible...
You know? I have come across these type of verses when I'm a JW.Nothing wrong about it. J have the right to clean the land of pagan worshippers. The only question I have in mind then is his instruction to 'take female captives as wives.' Wondering whether it means raping them. But I quickly suppressed any doubts, remembering the words 'your thoughts are not my thoughts'.
But now, in the light of what I have said about the quran....I see it from another viewpoint.....

I am using the Bible to throw out all the wt rubbish. But many are stubbornly stuck in my brain. Just like last nite. Maybe it was late and I was extremely tired. When I read Honest post, I thought the devil is speaking. Don't know why I associate Honest "It is not a sin" to the serpent's words to Eve "You will not die". It scared the hell out of me and I nearly wanted to wake up my dad. Only in the morning did I realise it was the wt words " The devil is waiting to devour those leaving Jehovah's Organization" that have caused me to react that way. I have thrown out these words from my conscious mind but it is still staying in my subconscious..
