we were told that if we have doubts regarding the bible and regarding the wt, it is satan that is casting doubts in our mind?.

I have been out for 4 months now. Occasionally , when I read the newspapers, such as regarding gay marriages, raising kids genetically neutral, it just pop up in my mind that we are living in the last days.

I am trying very hard to shove this "last days" thoughts away from my mind. But it keeps on coming back. It must be jehubar casting doubts in my mind.

I must hide inside my blanket and shout out "Get away from me, jehubar!" and I must pray....to who?

To satan...."Please deliver me from jehubar!"

the title was a joke but i going to tell a story that happend to me a a meeting.. there was a brother giving a talk now from my other post there are like 4 teens and 10 or more kids 5 to 8.now the brother just said now most of you kids will be getting asked have you lost your virginity.now all the teens are 13 like more or a year older you havent had sex but they dont care.. but the young kids most likey just asked there mom and dad when they got home ''mom dad whats my virginity''?.

just my god man what the fuck where you thinking when writeing that..

When I read your title "Meetings 18+ only", I tot they were discussing Song of Solomon chapter 7 at the meeting..

Now the brother just said now most of you kids will be getting asked have you lost your virginity.

Asking kids that question??? That brother must have some loose screws in his head....

Meetings are boring

meetings are boring for young kids and old but i'm going to focus on young kids 5 or 8.. i think is unfair that young kids get punished for falling asleep or zoning out.. as meetings are not as boring but i have to go to school the next day and staying up till 10pm isn't the best i can't get out of going.. but think of the young kids that dont even understand most of the teachings.. i know most on the site are adults but i heard of adults falling asleep..

LOL! Young kids are being punished for falling asleep? You should have recorded it using your phone and upload it to youtube with the caption "Inhumane JW Parents At Kingdom Hall"
I think I should have fallen asleep too when I was 5 or 6. But can't remember I was being punished.
When we finally grow older, it is impossible for us to fall asleep. We meet here in small groups of about 10. We have to take turns reading the wt paragraph, answering questions and reading from the Bible...Because there is participation, it is not so boring as in KH....

Do not think the end will come?

thats somthing i see thats asked in my kingdom hall if you want to go get more than 2 years in collage.thing in some one asking that to me or etc i cant say any thing or that would show that i dont believe.. i hate when some one askes me that when i try to plan ahead when it comes to what job i want.what job would help me hold my own but no god will give if you put him first.i dont believe in god even when i did i never buyed into that.. it seems you cant get away from the question im only 13 and i get that question theres no getting away from it..

Why should WE be the bloodguilty ones??

it struck me just how odd and weird it is that jws are told that if they do not preach, they are "bloodguilty" for failing to warn people of the upcoming destruction at armageddon.. hang on a minute now, hang on!.

why should a mere human be made to feel "bloodguilty" and "responsible" for "failing to warn someone" of gods wrath??.

these average people are not the ones who are about to unleash a genocidal massacre on 99% of humanity (including babies born to non-witnesses).

We won't be blood guilty. Once the angels found a 'chosen one' he will direct a witness to knock on his house. If there are any 'chosen ones' left out, it is the angels fault. Not ours.

Parents who try to make you feel guilty.

when parents say all the things we've done for you and your not doing anything for us in return like going to meetings, witnessing, answering up etc... how do you respond to parents?.

Words above won't have much effect on me.

My parents did not talk to me much after I DA'd. They write notes and leave it on the table.

The first two months after I DA'd was the hardest part. I see notes on the table :

"Do you know your mom is crying because you left?"

"The family can no longer be happy because of what you did."

The most heart wrenching for me was when I see my mom crying in the morning while reading the daily text. In the past, I will be with her discussing the day text...

I would lock myself in the room after school and pondered over what I have done. I did feel guilty. I would be lying if I tell you that I did not consider going back.

But I know myself. I couldn't and wouldn't pretend that all is fine with the org. When I have doubts, I want it answered. I am sure that even if I am reinstated, within a few weeks they would DF me. I wrote a note and tell my parents what I am thinking.

Luckily, after about a month or so, my parents finally accepted the fact that I am out . They don't pressure me to go back anymore.

Free to sin but still cannot bring myself to do it

have da'd myself nearly 3 months ago.

now i am part of this world but i feel myself the odd one out.

something inside me is still blocking me to do the things i have been longing to do while i was still a jw, such as attending birthday parties, sex, etc.... just last nite, i was on the way to attend a birthday party.

hahaha! another 63 years??? I have seen people around 40 y.o. needs viagra already...that is why I'm so eager to use it now before it becomes useless....

I think we need to learn to let go.

Many of us are carrying a heavy load of baggage containing our past failures, past mistakes and past grievances, especially from the wt bondage.

We really need to put this baggage down and move on.

I know it's easier said than done. We may not be able to put the whole baggage down all at once. But I'm sure we can slowly throw off the rubbish in our baggage bit by bit. It will then be lighter and make it easier for us to move forward..

10 years from now...will we still be under wt bondage even though we are physically out of this cult a long time ago????
