my family hasnt signed the blood paper but still say no blood (well the adults do).i overheard a elder taking to my aunt about the blood papaers she needs to fill out.but he also aid she needs a make a small little letter saying i wont take blood.some times i wish i never heard that talk.. even tho i knew i would have to stand up for me being hable to have life.now i just zone out and think will i die for something thats a lie?.

im going to try not to think about it for a little my head hurts after this..

Akid48, you didn't tell the readers here that you are just 13 y.o.

You are still consider a minor. Even though you may be conscious and agreed to blood transfusion, your guardian may override your decision. Hope I am wrong about this.

Ps: I'm wondering why gay marriage etc trigger this for you, and not for example the 'persecution' in Russia, the earthquakes and storms, or the Korea-USA standoff?

Persecutions, earthquakes and storms have all been occurring throughout the ages. Intensity of these natural calamities increases in our time? I am not that sure. I would say it is due to global warming which is man-made.

Korea-USA standoff which will most likely leads to WW3. Nothing unusual about that. We have already seen two world wars.

It is the morality of this present world that has triggered the thought that we are in the last days. As for gay marriages, I am neither for or against it. Or maybe I would say I can't imagine a man marrying another man. This has nothing to do with biblical condemnation of homosexuality. It is just my own personal standpoint. Then there is the case of a gay couple suing a bakery for refusing to bake a cake for their wedding. They have the right to be gay. But the bakery shop owner also have his right to refuse to do things that his religious belief forbid. The gay couple should just simply walk away and find another shop willing to make the cake for them...

Now, the thing that I am very opposed to is raising kids genetically neutral. Instead of raising kids as him or her, they now raise kids as hens! I am so lucky that I was born 16 years earlier. Otherwise I will be raise up as a hen. My dad raised me up as a 'him' and taught me how to behave as a 'him'. I can still remember when I was 5 or 6 and was crying. My dad told me sternly "Boys don't cry!" At least I know that I am a boy and am expected to behave as a boy.

I am wondering how these "hen"s will behave when they grow older. Will the society has more effeminate males and masculine females????

Now, back to the question "Are we in the last days?". No. I don't think so. I have just recently read some articles on pompeii , an ancient roman city where they engaged in gross "sins" and immorality. Maybe what they were engaging then is much more immoral than our times....

I have been out for 4 months now. Occasionally , when I read the newspapers, such as regarding gay marriages, raising kids genetically neutral, it just pop up in my mind that we are living in the last days.

I am trying very hard to shove this "last days" thoughts away from my mind. But it keeps on coming back. It must be jehubar casting doubts in my mind.

I must hide inside my blanket and shout out "Get away from me, jehubar!" and I must pray....to who?

To satan...."Please deliver me from jehubar!"

the title was a joke but i going to tell a story that happend to me a a meeting.. there was a brother giving a talk now from my other post there are like 4 teens and 10 or more kids 5 to 8.now the brother just said now most of you kids will be getting asked have you lost your virginity.now all the teens are 13 like more or a year older you havent had sex but they dont care.. but the young kids most likey just asked there mom and dad when they got home ''mom dad whats my virginity''?.

just my god man what the fuck where you thinking when writeing that..

When I read your title "Meetings 18+ only", I tot they were discussing Song of Solomon chapter 7 at the meeting..

Now the brother just said now most of you kids will be getting asked have you lost your virginity.

Meetings are boring

meetings are boring for young kids and old but i'm going to focus on young kids 5 or 8.. i think is unfair that young kids get punished for falling asleep or zoning out.. as meetings are not as boring but i have to go to school the next day and staying up till 10pm isn't the best i can't get out of going.. but think of the young kids that dont even understand most of the teachings.. i know most on the site are adults but i heard of adults falling asleep..

LOL! Young kids are being punished for falling asleep? You should have recorded it using your phone and upload it to youtube with the caption "Inhumane JW Parents At Kingdom Hall"
I think I should have fallen asleep too when I was 5 or 6. But can't remember I was being punished.
When we finally grow older, it is impossible for us to fall asleep. We meet here in small groups of about 10. We have to take turns reading the wt paragraph, answering questions and reading from the Bible...Because there is participation, it is not so boring as in KH....

Do not think the end will come?

thats somthing i see thats asked in my kingdom hall if you want to go get more than 2 years in collage.thing in some one asking that to me or etc i cant say any thing or that would show that i dont believe.. i hate when some one askes me that when i try to plan ahead when it comes to what job i want.what job would help me hold my own but no god will give if you put him first.i dont believe in god even when i did i never buyed into that.. it seems you cant get away from the question im only 13 and i get that question theres no getting away from it..

it struck me just how odd and weird it is that jws are told that if they do not preach, they are "bloodguilty" for failing to warn people of the upcoming destruction at armageddon.. hang on a minute now, hang on!.

why should a mere human be made to feel "bloodguilty" and "responsible" for "failing to warn someone" of gods wrath??.

these average people are not the ones who are about to unleash a genocidal massacre on 99% of humanity (including babies born to non-witnesses).

We won't be blood guilty. Once the angels found a 'chosen one' he will direct a witness to knock on his house. If there are any 'chosen ones' left out, it is the angels fault. Not ours.
