My heart is so sad right now......I am so sorry Bill. Thank you for sticking up for the children and exposing the WTBS for what it is. And thank you to everyone else who has done the same.
Hearts and prayers from Minnesota........

the associated press reports that bill bowen, former elder and anti- sexual abuse activist, has been disfellowshipped by the watchtower society for criticizing the handling of child sexual abuse cases.. read it on-line: http://www.watchtowerinformationservice.org/.

YAHOO! My computer is back and running.......lesson learned (the hard way)
BACK UP YOUR HARDDRIVE NOW!
My computer was working fine last week.......and then **poof* my hard drive crashed! Worse part is I hadn't backed it up and I lost YEARS of pictures that were stored! That really sucked! I got the hard drive replaced and have the old one sitting here...I will hopefully find someone that can restore it for less than the estimate of $800 that we were given!
Anyway........thanks for missing me (don't think I didn't take note of who responded to eyegirls thread) and I am back!
i saw this on the news and thought it was the coolest thing i'd seen in a long while.
you sign up your books, list where you are going to leave them and leave a prepared note for the person that finds and reads them...then they do the same thing over again...check it out...thought this might be a good way to have coc and other books read by interested people.. .
sincerely,.
Now Travis......you might have to double check, but I am pretty sure that Penthouse and Hustler are NOT included in this "sharing"!

i am a huge john prine fan.......i know, it is strange and very outdated, but i just love the guy.
(quit laughing at me eyegirl!).
just curious is anyone else out there enjoys his music.. my hubby took me to see him last year.......what a show!
I just love it! MORE JOHN PRINE FANS! (see, eyegirl.......I am not the only one!)
I do love Angel from Montgomery but he has got some great songs. Ilegal Smile and Jesus-The Missing Years are great tunes.......and I have always loved Your Flag Decals Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore.
ok......fess up....who's got em and who wants em?
i myself have two tattoos ( i will post pics of them later tonight).
i have one on my shoulder - it the face of a cat, i call it my egyptian cat because the face is very concise.
I currently have a angel on my left shoulder. It took me many years to find the "right" one......and this has lots of sentiment to it.
I will be going in soon (I hope) for a black sheep w/a dented halo. A friend of our designed it for me and I have to say.....it is really one of a kind (and cute!). That one will go on my calf.
today, i went to drop off some donated items at a christian thrift store.
(nw christian) before i went, i called them to ask what they would accept.
when i got there, the two that unload the free items that i was to donate hemmed and hawed and said, "well i don't know...." now, this wasn't junk, people.
I love thrift stores.......no end to the finds you can pick up.
But I have to say "no" I haven't ever had anything rejected. I dontate to our local Goodwill store. This summer I did a total housecleaning and did donate to a local animal shelter that was having a sale to help build a new shelter though. Half time time I don't care who gets it-just get it out of my house!

My hubby took me to see him last year.......what a show! No fireworks, no stagestunts, just an old man w/a titanium hip propped up on a barstool singing his heart out. *sigh*....
ok...not that there is anything wrong with serious threads (i for one enjoy them) but i was looking through the ones today and decided i needed a bit of fluff in my day (been way too serious lately).
so my question is..even though its rerun season...what tv shows do you like to watch?.
myself - i was an avid "x-files" fan but alas they have ended the series .
I am in the mood for some "fluff" too....LOL
I am a NYPD Blue addict and The Practice addict too!
I get so engrossed in the storylines and characters that my phone gets shut off and I start shouting comment to the television like they can hear me!
well, here we go...i sent the panorama info to my relatives and thought i would share some of the more choice pieces i recieved so far.. .
i would also like to add that i have left her personally negative comments in the text because i have nothing to hide about my relationship w/my kids or my family and will have no regrets when the worms come.....nuff said!
my original email... .
Travis.......I can just imagine you shaking your head in disbelief over the response to your letter.
I too have thought of sending something to my parents regarding the pedofile coverup.....but I know that it would fall on deaf ears. "Praise be to Jehovah and His organization"...I can hear it now. Makes me just sick......just sick.
i have a question for everybody.
it has probably been asked before, but i'll ask it again in case anyone changed their minds.... why do/don't you believe in god/god.
what give you faith in things not beheld/makes you not believe?.
I believe in a Higher Power because of "miracles" in my life. Granted, maybe they are just miracles by my definition....but my beliefs ground me, make me whole. I do not "proclaim" my faith to anyone......never try to convert anyone to my beliefs. My spiritual recovery hasn't been the destination but the journey. It works for me and that is all that matters. Believing gives me strength, gives me hope. Believing gives me reasons and gives me direction.
And the comment about knowing love.....I can relate and can agree.
