Watchtower looses Norwegian Appeal

watchtower has just lost its appeal in the norwegian courts over the withdrawal of the funding it receives from the government as an officially recognised religion.

the initial decision will now stand due to what the court termed 'exclusionary practices' which includes the witnesses barbaric practice of shunning minors, even by family members in their own homes.

the ministry of children and families have decided they are now no longer eligible for the state grant of 16 million norwegian kroner given to officially recognised religions.. the following is a statement has been issued, i have summarised if it isn't readable: .

Got to go with Vidiot on this one. They know they are persona non grata and there is no changing it. Russia is a lost cause, most European countries have their number and won't take being lied to anymore. Social media has exposed their twisted perversions of morality and corruption. Ex-JWs are speaking out and suing - WTC is settling because they know they can't win in most couirts. All the advertorials they can buy won't change the public's general perception of them now. In their case, the grave they dug may be for themselves.

Barbara Anderson is correct when she said that WTC searched for scriptures to support their beliefs. In fact, every whim they ever had was later supported by a cherry-picked verse from the scriptures.

Bethel was a political cesspool, a man-made concoction designed to control people while elevating a small group of under-qualified religionists who were very insecure, but also the most arrogant hypocrites that anyone could ever meet. Most were horrible human beings, but a few were naive enough to support the organization despite being sincere and humble. For those poor souls, I offer my best wishes that they will not be held accountable for all the damage WTC has done to so many people and families. Individuals can be forgiven but corporations cannot.

LHG sees the Zoom effort for what is is. WTC said it was a means to distribute spiritual food when they started using it, but it became yet another means of control. It just wasn’t enough to distribute food when an opportunity to control the sheep is there.

i witnessed the control aspect play out over my decades in the org, and I concluded that they were not spiritual and not interested in spiritual things.

It takes more fuel to get a car up to speed than to keep it at the same speed. WTC was already struggling to motivate the R&F BEFORE the pandemic. They coasted to a stop. No matter how hard they push and threaten, the R&F are not speeding up to pre-pandemic levels. The harder they push, the worse it seems to get. I am cautiously beginning to think that this may be the end for them. I could be wrong...

JWs near of losing their status a religious organization in Norway

last spring norweigian state refused to give public contribution to jws (religious organisations can apply that in norway and previously wtbs has been granted that).

the decision was caused because of practise of disfellowshpiping.. now there is a new twist.. 25.10.2022 authorites in norway send a letter to wtbs and told them that they have four weeks to fix that practise.

if they don't do that they will loose their status as a religiouse organisation.. intrestingly jws did not "understand" what authorites meant by that and requested more time.. how can they not understand?

The dishonesty of thIS religion is astounding. No one is encouraged to make their own decisions. WTC makes the decisions and the R&F parrot them. It's time for the gov't to revoke their tax exempt status.
