Jason,
What kind of lies are you refering too? Please let us know.
on this website there seems to be so many lies and so little actual truth.
is this supposed to be a place to get answers or confuse the hell out of truth seekers?
well, for you seekers out there, if you find the truth on this site it'll be a major fluke.

I have dealt with several Bible Students and JWs on the net. One thing a person cannot do over the net is read a persons body language and actually know at times what they mean when they say it. Some conversations or replies can get confused to mean something that was not meant, and in the process taken the wrong way. With the JWs and the BS, they usually take any critical questioning or remarks as an attack against their belief system whether it was meant that way or not. I hope those of us that were in that same boat learned something from that way of thinking.
Yes, I could have misunderstood what Bugeye said in his first reply, but I did not. This does not mean that I am not guilty of taking post the wrong way at times.
Sometimes I read posts not only on this forum, but also other forums I post on and wait an hour or maybe a day before I reply. The reason is so that something like this does not happen.
Take care Dana and thank you for your response.
i hear that stafford and furuli are coming out with new books.
one will deal with the gentile times, and the other will discuss jws via three "dissertations.
" i immensely look forward to these works.. .
If you want to see the books that Stafford & Furuli have on line, go to http://www.elihubooks.com/
I always have JWs that know about these clowns, throwing these glittering jems of colossal deception my way.
safeforkids,
When I replied to Bugeye about searching the web or (some) brushing up on their history, I was not being derogatory. I at times see phrases or words or people's names attached with events that I am not familiar with, so I sometimes take the time to look them up or find what they mean or who the person is.
This topic was meant for fun, but with so many topics on this forum, it has started to turn to shit.
Thank you Bugeye, it takes a real man to admit he is wrong. You da man!
the latest edition of the free in christ ministries journal contains a very interesting article entitled the watchtower and masons.. drawing upon material from the book the watchtower & the masons by fritz springmeier, it gives the following parallels between the things that c t russell believed and those taught by the masons:.
* both believe jehovah is the most important word being the basis of their dogma, and the name of their god.
* both believe god yielded power to a lesser god.
After reading these sites, it is evident that Russell was influenced by masonry. Of course maybe Randy Watters is wrong in putting this site on the web as well as McGregor Ministries and others not mentioned.

Bugeye,
I was not admitting anything. You ASSume too much. You also took what I said the wrong way.

Seeker, I too am in the camp that believes Russell was not a Mason. I do believe he had ties with them, and this is more than obvious. I do not see from DannyBears posts that he said Russell was a died in the wool Mason.
You said: to denegrate those who disagree with you is tiresome.
I agree, tell that to others on this forum.
Bugeye,
I guess this might be a good time for some to get out the history books and search the web. Never hurts to get an education.

Dogma= A system of principles or tenents as of a church.2. a specific tenent authoritatively put forth
Freemason= a member of a secret fraternal association for mutual assistance and the promotion of brotherly love.
This is not all that is contained in masonry and it's rituals and beliefs.
I disagree with you Charles that masonry has (NO) dogma. I also disagree with you that Russell knew nothing about Masonry as you said in another topic a few days ago.
