I have collected old and rare coins for several years. I also have a large collection of Watchtower books and magazines dating back to Russell's era. I also have a collection of old and new miniature football helmets. Also, I have a collection of nautical stuff like shark jaws, old ship artifacts, etc.

Dubs can see lord of rings, not harry potter
by gumby ininteresting how the witnesess once again show a double set of standards with the watching of these two movies.
harry potter is a definate no no, but watching lord of the rings is ok.. both movies have wizards.
anyone noticed this?

There must be some reasonable explanation for this. Maybe the WT said it was ok to see Lord of the Rings. If it is good enough for the WT, it is good enough for the Rank and file.
I wonder how many JWs snuck into Harry Potter?

Sooty and Jehovah
by Duncan ina couple of years ago we took our youngest to see sooty.
anyone from the uk will instantly know who i mean sooty is a little glove-puppet bear (?
) who never speaks but has managed to turn himself, over the last 50 years or so, into a british national institution.. sooty has a couple of friends sweep the dog (always my favourite) and soo and various others who appear in his show.
