  i know this recent video has been talked about already but i just watched it and here are a few things that got me annoyed as usual:.

  splane says that if a bible student says he saw some negative information from apostates and asks us to explain it, we shouldn't look at it or address anything specifically, but instead we should tell them to go to meetings and hear what we have to say about ourselves and also tell them to befriend people at the hall.

  for any person with integrity and/or intelligence, this is not a satisfactory answer.

  The obsession with ex members is something I was felt like was a little off. It’s one of my earliest memories.

  Today it’s literally a no good zone for me. It’s absolutely makes my skin crawl.

  Medical staff don’t want the vaccine? That’s absolutely laughable. I have two doctors and five registered nurses in my family and there is no major dissecting voices in the medical community against the vaccine. The anti vax community operates in the same manor as the watchtower. Take a few crack pots on the fringes and try to make it sound like a legitimate view when it’s just hogwash.

  The only concern is how effective the Chinese and Russian vaccines are.

  2. Even if there was ( and there isn't ) 12000 divided 150,000,000 is 0.0008 percent. Have a 0.0008 percent chance of dying from the vaccine.

  My wife is a nurse and has been sucked into this Covid nonsense. We don't even sleep in the same bed anymore.

  Every single death and hospitalization where she works is in the either unvaccinated or party vaccinated group. Not 98% or 99%, its 100%.

  What the right wing is doing to the country is truly despicable. Taking advantage of the stupid, uneducated and narcissistic. If I wanted to be proud of my stupidity and ignorance I would still be banging on doors Saturday morning. Freedom of speech isn't freedom to yell fire in a crowded theatre.

  The new understanding of the faithful slave to me was them just saying " Yeah, we are a cult, what are you going to do about it ? ". I really thought there would be more blow back over it.

  Sadly , the pandemic has really shown me that world is full of gullible narcissists. The religion is the equivalent of a conspiracy theory ( yeah, every copy of the new testament is wrong ). The organization isn't going anywhere.

  20 Years Occupying Afghanistan, Nothing Achieved

  so the occupation of afghanistan is coming to an end and, as predicted, they achieved absolutely nothing in that 20 years apart from:.

  the death of 2,300+ service personnel and tens of thousands more seriously maimed or injured.. handing $billions or even $trillions of taxpayer dollars to defence contractors (so the military industrial complex wins, even if the military doesn't have a clear victory).. has this lengthy but short-term military occupation really changed anything in the country?

  it doesn't appear so.. i said at the time that the us wouldn't have the staying power to enact real change.

  Its not widely taught in the history books but the South Vietnamese army actually became a fairly capable fighting force near the end of the war. With US air power they actually fought the commies to a stalemate . The fall of South Vietnam was the United States removing all support for ARVN. A million man army with no pay checks and bullets. Even the North Vietnamese after the war ended said years later they didn't believe they would win.

  As for Afghanistan, all that is going to happen is in a few years when the Taliban are in control, CIA spooks will show up with back packs full of hundred dollar bills, talk to tribal leaders and taliban commanders and everyone will switch sides. Afghanistan is impossible to rule but easy to overthrow the government.

  Covid Vaccine - Which One

  i had just about decided to get the johnson & johnson vaccine and the issue of the guillain barre syndrome came up.

  i realize it's a distant possibility but it gave me pause to reconsider.

  i'm not fully onboard with the mrna method yet.. if you received the vaccine ..... which one, and can you share why that one?.

  I got double Pfizer about 10 weeks apart. At first I did it to piss off the right wing wackos and religious nutjobs , then it turns out that 99 % of covid deaths and 95% of covid hospitalizations are in the unvaxxed group, it became kind of a bonus for me.

  Its makes me mad the borg choose this time to take a sane and rational position on something. I was kind of hoping they would go complete nutters. I would love to see the magical eight in an ICU ward.
