The problem isn’t that obesity runs in your family. The problem is no one runs in your family.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather.. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
my doctor says that i need to have an operation to fuse the bones in my neck.
he said that after it's done i'll never look back!.
alcohol was my father's answer to everything.

has anyone experienced that family members of the general flock and those of the elders were treated differently, unfairly, or just put on a pedestal just coz they were elders kids?
where i grew up ,elders kids used to steal from their dads wallet right in fron t of us , and say to us that " if you say anything no one will believe you, i am the elders son".this went on from bad to worse , he grew up a constant liar, wore earrings to college and questionable association and clothes, involved in all things worldly.
.i know this coz he had a worldy friend who lived next door to me.this neighbors house was his go to for a double standard life style.
Sorry to read about this experience. Yes I have read that privileges shielded people , the higher ups and thier families have nothing much to worry about.
Glad you are out if you are.
i was a thriving regular pioneer, doing all thr things wholeheartedly, had 16 bible studies, 7 attending meetings regularly, 11 magazine routes and 100's of rv's.
you can imagine i was always runnin out of literature and always a good list of books to order every month.
(not bragging, just stating facts.all this is wasted anyway).
Wow Zindag
quite impressive record when a regular pioneer. You certainly gave it your all, wholehearted.Thats a lot of effort you put into your devotion as a JW.
Would love to know more about you and your life experiences.
as we get older , we tend to feel the aches and pains or some tiredness like never before.. i have some friends who are in excellent condition and i’ve asked what their secret was.. some swear by cbd oil as a cure all for aches and localized pain.
greek yogurt is a natural food that can attack gut fat as does taking probiotics.
have you found anything that makes you more energized?
some witnesses realize that they got into a religion and it turned out to be disastrous.
many decide they have to somehow get out.
some do it right away and others take longer.. where are you in your journey?
@ Biahi
Or George Jackass
i remember when i did.
i was in hs when that happened.
i wasn't even awake yet.
I was not immersed fully, ie had a swimming cap on to not get my hair wet. Does it make my baptism null n void?
Great so no accountability then, i can do whatever I want then. No ds'fing then.
To be free is divine.

so i’m just reading the part in ray franz book “crisis of conscience” about the 1925 prediction of “millions now living will never die”.. ofcourse all witnesses are very familiar with this campaign.
yet none of us ever had an issue with it, including myself.
since the booklet was published in 1920, we are one year away from 100 years from that time.
The phrase "millions now living will never die " still trending in JWWORLD.
It will continue to be real for them forever as the phrase is in the present continuous tense.
I can see the joke hope you can too!
so i got married a few weeks ago, living a great life now with my husband, he was definitely the perfect guy for me :) but anyways, we are going to work on slowly fading, going to meetings once a week or every two weeks, and then in a few months move to a hall where nobody knows our families and the elders hardly know each other, and fade out a lot more.
but an elder asked for our address, which we didn’t feel comfortable giving him, because we don’t want any unexpected visits to “shepard” us, when we miss a few meetings, because they already text us when we miss 2 meetings in a row, which we had just gotten back from our honeymoon 🙄 so we “accidentally” gave him the wrong apartment number.
so if they ever come pokin around they will be lost, and if they call or text us we will just have an excuse for not replying.
I always give out wrong numbers ,addresses and emails and occasionally even my name. I have always been this way. Its my number, address, so long and so forth. Its mine to give or hold back.
Yes even to bros and sis, be it for whatever (emergency),I do not give two hoots who it is .
Life is beautiful !
