So Charlotte, it appears that you joined this forum for the sole purpose of perpetuating a malicious, libellous attack on someone in the xJW community who no longer posts on this forum. That, in itself, is suspicious. We take a very dim view of people who make unfounded allegations against people in this community. If you have proof, take it to the authorities. Their form of worship revolves around whatever is The Truth™ du jour. If the WTS dumped its blood transfusion theology, and did away with Hospital Liaison Committees, DFing and DAing for persons who accepted transfusions for themselves or on behalf of spouse, children or other family members, all of them would go with the flow of New Light™ without batting an eye.

it was where he showed how ludicrous it was to flit between solar days lunar months a solar day for a 360 day year but those years are 365 to come up with 1914. i have tried searching but struggled.

have da'd myself nearly 3 months ago.
now i am part of this world but i feel myself the odd one out.
something inside me is still blocking me to do the things i have been longing to do while i was still a jw, such as attending birthday parties, sex, etc.... just last nite, i was on the way to attend a birthday party.
A lot of the things JWs define as a "sin" are, in fact, perfectly normal and definitely NOT sinful.
It's part of the healing process to take baby steps and try those things that were once forbidden to you as a JW. Be smart, be safe, and don't partake in things that you know could hurt yourself or someone else (drugs, drunkenness, unprotected sex, etc.)
There's no right or wrong time to begin experimenting, just be sure that you're comfortable and have an exit strategy if things start to feel overwhelming for you.

i mean, that sounds a bit much".. the watchtower conductor said in response; "no, it's just a parable and it doesn't mean give up everything.
Considering the example set by the members of the Slippery Seven Governing Body™ at WT HQ, who have, after all, taken a vow of "poverty", I would say the Bible™/Jesus™ didn't mean what he meant. ;)
i was recently told this by a jw family member when trying to get through to them.
does this quote indicate that maybe such ones have considered that the jw's may not have the truth after all?
