  Organized religion is an agreement to set of appealing lies that produces various results, some good, some bad.

  The supernatural agents in the heavens who were once thought to control and cause things to happen here on earth never actually existed, some today still believe they do.

  Disassociated for smoking at 15 years old then later after years of shinning befriended again.

  after my 4 and 6 year old sisters and i (5) were molested and covered up by elders, at 15 i'm disassociated for smoking.

  then years later after attending a passover with family members, i'm not suddenly disassociated anymore and attempted befriending begins.

  This religion has an innate structure of cruelty and harm for people on various levels.

  Evidence of this is smoking cigarettes which can get you DA but you can drink hard liquor and not bat an eye.

  Or like you stated Tjhunt child molestation gets pushed under the carpet a noted serious crime in the modern world.
  

  A reason why drinking booze is a problem in the JWS.

  Sorry I dont get all this speculation that the WTS/JWorg is going to sell off KHs and go strictly on line.

  That would be a death sentence for this religious organization and they probably know that.
  

  This organization exists and sustains itself upon eye to eye contact in imposing fear, guilt and obligation, its pretty hard to continue that by visual contact via the inter-net.
  

  I see a gradual return to the way it was before Covid, with more video presentations directed to each congregations.

  Watch the monitors brothers and sisters, what exciting times.
  

  In this return I do see some slow down in numbers attending KH meetings, a shrinking of congregations which may induce some KHS being sold and amalgamating with other congregations.

  What Will Happen If You Do NOT Get The Covid Vaccinations?

  we are encouraged to all, if possible, get the vaccinations.

  if you don’t, we are told that we definitely could get the virus.

  fair enough.. but what happens if you decide you aren’t going to get the shots?

  I disagree. That's precisely when they start to lock down because of "variants"

  The vaccines been distributed right now are able to counter the new Covid variants that are appearing, hopeful it will stay that way.

  As long as that happens there is no reason to not lift social restrictions.

  There is most likely going to be a small number of cases that popup in the years to come but they should be quite small in numbers as the entire populations get vaccinated.

  So once everyone gets vaccinated from the elderly to small children, we can look forward to having the social restrictions lifted.
  

  Most modernized wealthy countries are on tract to have all of their citizens vaccinated by the end of this summer.

  Unfortunately being that some poor countries cant afford the vaccinations, there most likely will be travel bans in place to those countries who are behind their vaccination programs, at least for the immediate future.

  and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.. we see that the millennial reign begins with satan being bound.

  Or how about what Jesus said when he stated that no one knows of time not even he and admonished his followers to set a time upon god's own sacred time, which makes all of these specific date settings by men and their organizations such as the JWS false, sinful and acts of scriptural apostasy ?

  we all had some to deal with some.

  you would ask yourself, “how the hell did this guy ever get to be an elder”???.

  we had one elder originally from england that used to wear his pants belted up to his chest with typically a dirty spotted tie and shirt.

  There was one elder in my old hall that was lets say folliclely challenged in mid life, well he was the guy who went about scrutinized all the boy's and men's hair length.

  If you were seen with just 1/8 of inch of hair on your ears, he would point you out and take you to the back room for counseling.

  We called him the hair Nazi
  

  I myself got taken back to the room by him once when it was noticed I had 1/4 inch of hair resting on top of my ears.

  The ancients were quite imaginative when creating their gods and to their extent of what they were capable of.
  

  If these gods were able to be resurrected after experiencing death, why not ask them to save yourself from experiencing death ?
  

  If these gods were immortal and did not experience illnesses or death, why not ask your select god to save yourself from death ?

  A lot people became JWS because they were told that if they remained righteous in the eyes of god they wouldn't be killed at Armageddon and they would live on in a earthly paradise possibly for ever. (immortality)

  The concept of resurrection is found in the writings of some ancient non-Abrahamic religions in the Middle East. A few extant Egyptian and Canaanite writings allude to dying and rising gods such as Osiris and Baal. Sir James Frazer in his book The Golden Bough relates to these dying and rising gods,[8] but many of his examples, according to various scholars, distort the sources.[9] Taking a more positive position, Tryggve Mettinger argues in his recent book that the category of rise and return to life is significant for Ugaritic Baal, Melqart, Adonis, Eshmun, Osiris and Dumuzi.[10]

  Ancient Greek religion[edit]

  In ancient Greek religion a number of men and women became physically immortal as they were resurrected from the dead. Asclepius was killed by Zeus, only to be resurrected and transformed into a major deity. Achilles, after being killed, was snatched from his funeral pyre by his divine mother Thetis and resurrected, brought to an immortal existence in either Leuce, the Elysian plains or the Islands of the Blessed. Memnon, who was killed by Achilles, seems to have received a similar fate. Alcmene, Castor, Heracles, and Melicertes, were also among the figures sometimes considered to have been resurrected to physical immortality. According to Herodotus's Histories, the seventh century BC sage Aristeas of Proconnesus was first found dead, after which his body disappeared from a locked room. Later he found not only to have been resurrected but to have gained immortality.[11]

  Many other figures, like a great part of those who fought in the Trojan and Theban wars, Menelaus, and the historical pugilist Cleomedes of Astupalaea, were also believed to have been made physically immortal, but without having died in the first place. Indeed, in Greek religion, immortality originally always included an eternal union of body and soul.[12] As may be witnessed even into the Christian era, not least by the complaints of various philosophers over popular beliefs, traditional Greek believers maintained the conviction that certain individuals were resurrected from the dead and made physically immortal and that for the rest of us, we could only look forward to an existence as disembodied and dead souls.[13]

  Greek philosophers generally denied this traditional religious belief in physical immortality. Writing his Lives of Illustrious Men (Parallel Lives) in the first century, the Middle Platonic philosopher Plutarch in his chapter on Romulus gave an account of the mysterious disappearance and subsequent deification of this first king of Rome, comparing it to traditional Greek beliefs such as the resurrection and physical immortalization of Alcmene and Aristeas the Proconnesian, "for they say Aristeas died in a fuller's work-shop, and his friends coming to look for him, found his body vanished; and that some presently after, coming from abroad, said they met him traveling towards Croton". Plutarch openly scorned such beliefs held in traditional ancient Greek religion, writing, "many such improbabilities do your fabulous writers relate, deifying creatures naturally mortal."

  Alcestis undergoes resurrection over a three-day period of time,[14] but without achieving immortality.[15]

  The parallel between these traditional beliefs and the later resurrection of Jesus was not lost on the early Christians, as Justin Martyr argued: "when we say ... Jesus Christ, our teacher, was crucified and died, and rose again, and ascended into heaven, we propose nothing different from what you believe regarding those whom you consider sons of Zeus." (1 Apol. 21).
