over 20 years ago a friend of mine did something rather crazy; he committed a major crime.
non-sensical because the organization never takes responsibility for its own faults.
In word the organization says it is imperfect, it practice it holds itself out to be infallible.
Yes quite bit of contravening double speak when you think about it.
Sounds more like self imposed inherent hypocritical corruption.
The reality is whenever the power of god is placed into men's hands a conundrum of confusion is presented for humanity.

Theological speaking from a Christian perspective if a person admits to their transgression (sin) and asks to be forgiven by his associated Christian brothers he should not be shunned.
They (he) still has to face the laws of the land (Cesar's Laws)
When Jesus Christ came to mankind it changed things for all of us, the JWS dont see and recognize that.
it's pretty easy to see how current events would have any jw convinced the end is imminent, but i just don't see how there could be a major push for zealous service, pioneering, etc.
decades into the future.
even if (when) world events happen periodically that could scare the r&f, there are now countless hours of hd video of jw leaders saying how close the end is.
The WTS/JWorg operates and sustains itself from fearmongering, it has for decades, being that is so, the likelihood of that continuing is an assumed probability.
many that have come to this forum have left the jws religion and moved on with their lives but from a outsider's viewpoint what do think makes the jws religion wrong or incorrect as a active christian faith ?.
somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".

when i see watchtower videos or interviews i can’t help but notice how bland and boring jws really are!
they are so vanilla.
no excitement, just robotic conversation.. what the hell happened to these people?

as a youg man this stunned me when i studied the original "youth" book 97% had done it so i thought soo that's pretty much everyone i guess the 3% were witness youth!
also "awake" claimed 90% of students had accessed porn at some time.
everyone is doing it i guess 10% are the witness youth...how dumb was i?.
All of these boys have stroked the salami in their lives that you can count on.
As a matter of fact they were once members of the Salami Stokers of America Club ....

The problem is that he expects fellow Republicans to put loyalty to

Trump assembled his own constitution which stated you better be loyal to him irregardless of established laws, rules, information, intellectual honesty and truth.
even if you disapprove of much about the wt and/or its religion, what aspects do you view most favorably about the wt and/or its religion?
for me one of the things i view most favorably about the wt and its religion is its extremely strong insistence that jws never intentionally kill another human being.
i especially appreciate that regarding those who have been born, but i think some abortions of human embryos might be justifiable.
The one thing that comes to mind is the advantage of meeting different people in a social environment that you could say you had something in common.
Yes that includes meeting people of the opposite sex.
to the majority of people who investigate the activities of the wts from its beginning history there were obvious false proclamations and doctrines propagated by the wts.. a matter of fact the wts produced a long list of literature that posted proclamations on the front cover and went into detail of things that were suppose to happen, from jesus returning changing the world in which we live and so on.. wonderful things one might say but not factual or either theologically correct .

The problem with most JWS is that they are poorly educated so when the current events are used to show mankind is living in the last days ( ie. plagues ) they eat it up like jam on toast and dont question what the JWorg leaders (GB) say.
So 30 years from now the same people at the top of the organization will implying the same fear mongering tactics.
It unfortunately works on a segment of the population.
They will become the Org's mentally brainwashed slaves as the people before them.
