And what Splane really hates about JWs apostates is that many times they tell the truth about the Org and its doctrines which have killed thousands.

David Splane's apostate warning convention talk
by neat blue dog ini know this recent video has been talked about already but i just watched it and here are a few things that got me annoyed as usual:.
splane says that if a bible student says he saw some negative information from apostates and asks us to explain it, we shouldn't look at it or address anything specifically, but instead we should tell them to go to meetings and hear what we have to say about ourselves and also tell them to befriend people at the hall.
for any person with integrity and/or intelligence, this is not a satisfactory answer.

Since You Have Left The Religion Are You Happier?
by minimus ini realize that some activist exjws really don’t seem to be happy in life.
they finally got away from the organization and yet seem still negatively connected to it.
some exjws are always upset because of what the “truth “ did to their lives, which is understandable.

It might be easy to assume that ex-jws are unhappy due to the negativity they express here on JWD, mostly related to the JWS religion and what it did to them.
Their complaints are valid though, the JWS religion is full of infliction of crippling harm particularly to ones psychological health.
Born ins like myself can relate to what kind of emotional harm this religious cult effects people from children to adults, male or female.
If you don't physically die from this cult such as refusing a blood transfusion, then it will certainly kill you intellectually and psychologically in the long run.
Oh yes by the way I've been much happier out this religion but still sad that it is still around harming people in the way it does.

Did You Feel Special Because You Were An Elder or Friend or Family Of?
by minimus infor many families, they received the golden ticket once a family member became an elder.
the glory and admiration of being an elder seeped right thru to all the elder’s connections.
if you got into some trouble, having an elder friend or relative could give you the stay out of jail card.

Ralph Walls implausible 2021 Convention field service story
by RULES & REGULATIONS inanother implausible field service story told by ralph walls at the 2021 convention.
get ready for this unrealistic, stupid, dull and boring, made up fiction that is presented at this assembly.. some years ago ( tells a story but doesn't know exact date ), a brother ( doesn't give his name ) in mexico ( doesn't name the town) from the rurals, dressed in a very simple garb ( to show he was not showy ) knocked at the door of a palatial mansion.
( a very rich ''worldly'' person must live here ).

Why the Watchtower has changed. They actually had no choice.
by pistolpete indid anyone ever check the doctors who claimed something that backed up the wt society.. .
jw / ex-jw tales.
i remember the watchtower and awake magazines used to have tons of articles on every subject you could think off.. history, medical, science, masturbation, dating, homosexuality, etc.. this was before the internet.

They had no choice because "The Truth" was hitting them in the ass.
It was easier to hide behind its lies and false teachings back in the day.
Such as a simple task of instructing Congregations to remove old literature for example.
They always had a crutch to support themselves, like well we just recently received new light or we are imperfect too.

It was easier to bullshit people with misinformation and ignorance before the inter net.
The WTS built itself up from bullshitting and being selling apostates (false Prophets).
The WTS personifies corrupt religious charlatanism.
Thats religious freedom in America baby

The Watchtower is NOT a false prophet
by The Quiet One inregarding what some have said here about the wt being a false prophet.. i would like to make my point regarding the wt not being a false prophet... so please, if you can be patient enough to read this, at least try to understand what i am getting at.. a false prophet is one who, according to deuteronomy, makes a false prediction of the future and claims that the prediction came from god, or in other words claiming that 'god has said he will do a certain thing at a certain time' etc.. for example, hypothetically speaking, if someone had claimed: "god will bring about the end of the world in 2010", they would have been proven to be a false prophet, obviously.
but, as an example, imagine a man who claimed the position of a prophet of god, (as moses did, because although he was not the type of prophet that predicted the future.. he was still a prophet or spokesman for god) and that he had publicised worldwide, according to his interpretation of a (for example) prophecy found in the book of isaiah, that the world would end in 2010.. and he had also stated that he was not saying that god will end the world in that year.. but only that there was biblical evidence that god might do so.
that would clearly have been a mistake.

"By supporting, joining wt, you make yourself part of a false prophet entity."
Correct you also make yourself an apostate scripturaly , an opposer to Jesus's instructions for preaching his new Kingdom order.
False prophet apostates who have taken on Jehovah's name and that of Jesus as identifying themselves as Christian Witnesses, not a very good thing to do. .
People who joined the JWs religion are really subservient and loyal followers of the men (GB) who started and sustained the organization, who were really disloyal sinners who were more personally endeavored to empower themselves with stature and self appealing glorification.

OK how about apostate liars, who the bible says to not listen to.
They announced that they are modern day prophets and continued to say things that were false and unscriptural ie, 1914

by Anony Mous ini remember when i was a jw, drinking a good wine or other liquor was looked down upon.

Sort of AM .
I've seen elders give talks on materialism and worldly desires while wearing a super expensive suit and then watch him walk to his brand new Cadillac and drive off.
Thats blatant hypocrisy
