  well, i was searching for new watchtower articles trying to debunk, for instance, human evolution.

  so, i did my homework, for the first time, so as to read past and updated papers and books on human evolution.

  Real Estate Business?

  i was going over some of the older posts of others and without starting some kind of flame war, i got no idea why people are saying that the society is some kind of real estate business.

  of course its making millions of dollars in its real estate sales but this a one time event.

  its down sizing by selling the furniture.

  Illusion of choice.

  Ya know, there have been a number of video games lately which, in trying to be immersive and cinematic, present the player with a choice between two or three options, but the choice doesn't matter. It really amounts to continuing an on-going cinematic cutscene.

  In WW2, the King of the North was said to be the Third Reich, and after that it was the Soviet bloc. That king disappeared when the USSR collapsed. When Russia tried to shutter the WTBTS, it was convenient to bring up the King of the North again.

  Thankfully, Watchtower's interpretation is not the only one. William J. Schnell compared the statue in Daniel to the Watchtower itself. And Babylon the Great, too.

And why isn't Russia, a largely Orthodox country allied with vastly Muslim Syria, leading anybody against "the world empire of false religion"?

  Was there a time in this site's past when a young guy could slander all women with his one night stand story? I really think the support comes for those fading, surviving, and exiting this cult, in areas relevant to that.

  None of us here are entitled to positive love-bombing in every thread if we're just going to say something stupid. Actually, I don't want it. If I say something stupid, you can call me on it. If you say something stupid, I can call you on it. Because we're adults, and there's a thing called legitimate criticism. Because that's how we change and mature as people.

  Also, I don't know you. I have only what you say to go on. You could be a young guy. Sure. That face in your avatar could be you. This story could be true with some exaggeration, like any Big Fish story. Sure, I get that. I'm still calling out the misogynistic slander, and I'm not a fan of the self-flattery either. You can be proud of your accomplishments without all that bullshit. I do wonder, if you wrote about this same event in 10 years, how would it differ? How much wider a perspective would you then have?
