I'm in a rush and can't read your entire post right at this moment but I did read the beginning of it. I will read it all when I get back.
I'm the same way in that I can't understand why women want to be a part of all this religion stuff when it seems so detrimental to them.
I told my mother several months ago that I thought the only reason religion was created was to keep women in their place and at the mercy and command of the men. She thought about it for a few seconds and agreed.
It does seem like religion's grip on women (in western society?) might be slipping a little? maybe I'm wrong. dunno

JW girlfriend

however, my experience has been quite different from that of others doing the same thing.
unlike other posts that i have read, her parents (we are both 18) are supportive of her relationship with me, she is quite open minded when it comes to social activities, she has both jw and non-jw friends, and is a totally "normal" 18 year old girl.

What irritates you?
by writerpen inwhat irritates me is when the car in front of me on the interstate leaves his turning signal on for 8 miles.
i was so irritated at this coming back from lunch today that all i could think of was, 'wouldn't it be great if i had a rocket installed in this little car so i could blow his car off the road?
' why do we get pissed at little stuff like this?

Those STUPID IDIOTS that are behind me, speed up and pass me, and then get in front of me so they can slam on their breaks and make a right turn.
Finally a couple of weeks ago I got pissed and took one of them on. He tried to pass me in his POS, riced-up early '90s Honda Civic. He was trying to pass me so I sped up. He neglected to notice that the light had changed to red up ahead and there were about 10 cars stopped at the light in his lane (there were none in my lane). All of a sudden I hear him slam on the brakes and some tire smoke going up from all of his tires being locked. It was hilarious.
That took the feistiness outa him.
