The worst thing you can do to someone is takeaway their pride ,which is often their family who they love and have life experiences with,take that from a man can be equivalent to a prisoner non association with family. First and foremost it's non scriptual and secondly it's satanic to say a baptised child can't change religion without having to chose family association.

by stuckinarut2 init seems like many feel hurt or saddened by the practice of shunning by witnesses.. yes, when ones who we were close to, perhaps family or ones we thought were close friends choose to follow the warped directions of the society, it may seem hurtful.. but really, our reaction is up to us.
the fact is, these ones have shown that in reality, their love for us was never real or genuine.
no, those relationships were superficial and lacking in substance.

meeting with elders about WT involvement in UN
by LevelThePlayingField ini still go to the meetings because of my in wife and it came about that the elders knew of my pissed off attitude about the society getting involved in the un.
so the elders said they could help me get over that and wanted to meet with me.
now just to let you know, i have only told my wife and her mom so far about it, that's it.

Remember these guy wouldn't believe you spoke truth even if you preformed a miracle, religious hierarchy has alway swayed most powerful influences. They are not capable of sound reasoning due to cult influence or their own power trip. Their problem lies in their trusting "mothership" for directions. The other problem you have is nearly all friends on here have been cult affected, which I'm sad to say is a hard shackle to throw. Most important to remember is our fellow friends here have been willing to forsake family for their freedom of religious choice,( but they didn't sacrifice friends,the friendships at KH were conditional on church service) . Try and live life without looking over shoulder.

only 10% need antivenom, it is administered only after checking coagulation levels, brown snake ruins coagulation so you typically die from brain heart liver bleeding. My farm is an hour from town ,children and dogs can easily die in under two hours, adults are in trouble after 3-4 hours, horses 6-9. When I was bitten I had to walk half a mile to farmhouse, then drive like crazy. It was a defining moment with regards to my fading, due to imagining that if I was JW in old days it would of been lights out chook.

believing that they still do , i will say this.. what about ,:the governing body who definitely are set apart from the rank and file for their attitude towards the r&f , but also from the attitude of the r&f towards the governing body members.many do seem to idolise gb members by their actions , and the gb members dont seem to discourage that.. and not only for their attitude , how about their life-style , being housed in bethel with all the mod -cons of modern civilization as opposed to a r&f member living in a third world country .does the wt society do anything to make their lifestyle improve ?

If it looks like your getting drilled , ask the dickheads if Geoffrey Jackson was serious about the slaves attitude towards the channel of communication.
