It's a modern Jonestown dishing out the koolaid for the children, following the money is the root of all crime , Pale I remember cooking the meals at conventions, all circuses need the clowns fed.

The point at which you think this may not be the truth
by LevelThePlayingField ini remember one of the nights that i found out the truth wasn't the truth, that is after finding out about the united nations, i remember riding my bicycle from like 1am till 5am in the city night.
it was rather chilly, maybe about 55-60 degrees and i was playing pink floyd's dark side of the moon album in my earbuds.
just riding and riding, not really tiring because of the thought that 7 men in brooklyn had duped me, duped me for like 20 plus years.

The coordinator of cong visited me last night
by Chook inhe ran into me a work and asked could he come , i said only if you're by yourself and don't wear company garb.
3 hours later and i might as well talked to myself.
i used every illustration and persuasive argument.

I also showed him the 10 min video on 1975 Vimeo, The Elder denies them specifically mentioning it , the video reveals where the JW chariot steered the brothers to sell homes , leave jobs, it's very compelling. If they want me DF it will be in absenteeism unless Geoffrey Jackson is charged with same crime.

He ran into me a work and asked could he come , I said only if you're by yourself and don't wear company garb. 3 hours later and i might as well talked to myself. I used every illustration and persuasive argument. Everything from Malawi and Mexican conscription, organ transplants , oral sex and grounds separations and JC procedures , baptism of children which he thought children could make an informed decision and I said would that child choose a good marriage mare at that age. In conclusion I said my beliefs are that I believe that it would be presumptuous to believe that the GB is the only channel, then I said if you want me before your kangaroo court Geoffrey Jackson needs to be dealt with first.

so my apologies to anyone who's already read it.
some of what i've written is what was told to me by my father.

Last Memorial Experiences
by NoviceLocs14 ini'll share mine first.... i had never missed a memorial for at least a quarter of a century of my life.
i was kind of raised to believe that missing the memorial was a sin in itself.. by 2013 memorial season, i was missing most of my meetings (even though i was still technically part of my foreign language congregation), and i had just come off the pioneer list.
i still made plans to attend the memorial (god forbid if i missed that lol).. i knew that typically our memorials were around 9 pm, since we usually got last priority (being a foreign language hall and all).

I must state I think Pale has the zeal of a high priest to take the emblems, I would like to do it but I haven't put a suit on since leaving, but I do like full moons. I don't even like reading 3 min of WT bullshit so 1 hour of torturous story telling would do me in.
But I do love watching the YouTubes of people taking emblems, I reckon the best approach is to go to cong where no one knows you, then play the rockstar elder from the other end of country spin a story that would make big Tony proud.

Should Youths Get Baptized?
by NikL infound this little gem of an article in the june 15, 2011 wt.... should youths get baptized?“i am so happy that my daughter is now a servant of jehovah, and i know that she is happy too,” said carlos, a christian father in the philippines.
a father from greece wrote: “my wife and i are delighted that our three children were baptized as jehovah’s witnesses during their adolescence.
they are making spiritual progress and are happy about serving jehovah.”christian parents have reason to be overjoyed when their children get baptized, but sometimes the joy is accompanied by uneasiness.

It's a crime against humanity to place baptised children with the choice of church or family. A requirement for baptism should be to spend three months on here .

Dutch conventions organized like circuits
by Gorbatchov inhere in holland jw.org is organizing for the first time the yearly conventions like circuits.
the whole summer the new convention hall is used for small group conventions instead of 10.000 seat external halls.. it keeps the money in the organization.
not renting external buildings.. the 29.000 witnesses here are divided now into 2.000 seat audience.. g..

Anyone read the latest Awake (on the supernatural)?
by LoveUniHateExams injust read some of this latest awake on the org's webshite.. it begins by talking about the 'supernatural' - wizards, witches, vampires, etc.
- their popularity and why they might appeal to people.
then it goes on to state the wt belief that someone is 'behind it'.. now, i like a few horror/scary films - when i was a kid, i always actually liked being a bit scared by them, tbh.. the silence of the lambs, a nightmare on elm street (1984), the ring, the witch, the thing (1982) and a few others are all great, imo.. they are just genres and subgenres of film, that's all.

The problem with asking has any read the Awake is that you have to consume your time with indoctrination propaganda, all these supernatural stories are the same magic tricks for centuries, the public love theatrics and boy won't the GB supply wonderful bedtime stories.
