  about 5 years ago when i was in, my son who at the time was 18 needed somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights due to work commitments ,in a city 2 hours from home.

  my "best man" who is an elder that lives in this city , was asked could my son stay a couple of nights .

  the response was he doesn't go to meetings anymore ,he can't stay here , i ask can he sleep on garage floor instead , still can't stay .

The response was he doesn't go to meetings anymore ,he can't stay here , I ask can he sleep on garage floor instead , still Can't stay . These people only help their own . Not in my wildest imagination could I see Christ turning away people in need.

  the whole world is rigged, whether its religious tribunals or local police enforcement, those who are paid by god or government are the enforcers .

  should you talk to elders... well imagine that brooklyn had ordered these men to df anyone who says anything against the slave.

  do you stand a chance , religious zealots are the most ruthless throughout history, look into it , it's scary to think we believed a magazine that we thought came from god .

  Steve2 turning 50 next year. Paranoid it may seem but history proves those with early knowledge won battle. To be truthful you have to take the US government line " I don't negotiate with terrorists " . Even Christ couldn't out talk corrupt religious leaders . He led example " no comment "

  Does anyone else squirm uncomfortably in disbelief?

  as we know, every month on the "official broadcasting" presentation, a new "music video" is presented.. can these possibly be any more cringe-worthy??.

  the words, music, singing are so, so bad....i mean, so bad!.

  surely witnesses are not so stupid that they don't harbor secret feelings of awkwardness when they see these?.

  i applaud anyone, male or female, who overcomes shallowness and looks at a person’s deeper qualities, especially in regard dating and marriage.

  the movie and fashion industry does much to institute shallowness to the point that, in my opinion, it promotes outright discrimination and judgmentalism even as they give lip service to tolerance..

  on the other hand, among jehovah’s witnesses, there seem to be a preponderance of incompatible marriages.

  Don't worry about what they look like on paper, look at prospective partners parents ,I can promise that all people don't fall far from one or both parents, regardless of religious upbringing or not. Show me your mother or show me your father and I'll tell you who you are. I hate some personality traits of my mother but I know I have theses myself. That's why family problems are generational. Apple don't fall far from tree . If you don't like parents run like hell.
