  well that`s what was impressed on me to differentiate between the true religion and false religion , when i was converted in 1960 , do they still claim that ?

  believing that they still do , i will say this.. what about ,:the governing body who definitely are set apart from the rank and file for their attitude towards the r&f , but also from the attitude of the r&f towards the governing body members.many do seem to idolise gb members by their actions , and the gb members dont seem to discourage that.. and not only for their attitude , how about their life-style , being housed in bethel with all the mod -cons of modern civilization as opposed to a r&f member living in a third world country .does the wt society do anything to make their lifestyle improve ?

  off course you need to think back to when you were a jw to answer this question honestly and properly.but hypothetically if you had the spirituality and knowledge and was approached to be appointed as a gb member would you have taken on the position?and if you did what changes would you recommend ?.

  It might seem appealing, but we only have so much time on this planet ,and to waste it with people who would make better Israelites than Christians seems pointless. You would be outnumbered for change ,so it boils down to who you want to surround yourself with. Do some charitable deeds you will feel better.

  meeting with elders about WT involvement in UN

  i still go to the meetings because of my in wife and it came about that the elders knew of my pissed off attitude about the society getting involved in the un.

  so the elders said they could help me get over that and wanted to meet with me.

  now just to let you know, i have only told my wife and her mom so far about it, that's it.

  If it looks like your getting drilled , ask the dickheads if Geoffrey Jackson was serious about the slaves attitude towards the channel of communication. If it turn into a JC insist on meeting at a place of your choosing. KH is not a neutral ground keep them out of their comfort ground. Ask for every accusation to be back up by specific scripture. But true reality is you are only buying time , if you believe black book even Christ couldn't prevent linching.

  went to the hall today as i was the designated driver for my parents.

  an elder who was in our old congregation in the city gave the talk.

  i've had a little chat with him and apparently our old congo is gone.

  In all honesty the US government has the right policy "you can't negotiate with terrorists" . Don't waste your time unless you feel you need to record the meeting to help others.
