  Elder asking for help

  this is my first time posting on here so i’m not sure where to start.

  i’m trying to keep it as short as possible since i could expand much more.

  i’ve been in the process of waking up in the last year and a half.

  you are in an unenviable position, I feel sorry for those born into this cult. Nearly all JWs have flat earth syndrome , I hope one day your wife can come around . The emotional roller coaster will be wild especially if your fellow elders smell blood . This religions legacy is broken families and some spouses will choose the cult over their spouse. You might be glad that there are no children, especially if you can't get wife to see the light. You will eventually have to decide how many days wasted in the cult verse freedom from slavery. May you be blessed in your endeavours and also you are in a great position to sow doubts. Again welcome aboard this forum.

  Anionted mom says Jehovah may ask her to kill all her family!!

  yes my holy anionted mom who has cancer is concerned that the loving god jehovah may ask her in heaven to destroy here non believer family including her 5 year old grandchild during armagedon....how messed up are these crazy people!!?

  I'm sorry to hear your mums got cancer, maybe ask her that you have doubts and seeing she has special position in heaven ask her to give you a sign so you can be certain Jah is in agreement with Brooklyn.

  Why cant Judicial Committees be taped?

  i have never understood this.

  was it because of legal reasons?

  i cant think of any other reason why it wouldn't be allowed, but i know the elders ask you repeatedly that you are not taping.

  Couple of reasons, 1 - closed courts with no records for defendants can't be disputed on the grounds of it being conducted outside their guidelines.

  2 - they can't be sued for mis conduct on their part or improper procedure.

  3- verdicts will ALWAYS be correct in their eyes

  4 - If wordly people ever really heard what was really said in JC they would know what a kangaroo court it really is.

  im sure they got their Judical process from fat boy in North Korea,

  Secrecy?

  were any of you shocked by the secrecy in the org?

  i remember hearing that elders have to turn in their "flock" books if they resign, get deleted, etc, i didn't even know they had their own books and i was an ms. is the bible not enough?

  i remember i asked one of the elders if i could see my publisher record, they refused to show me!

  The letter sent to next cong you attend . I always referred that letter as the undefendable slander, I even had a elder tell me that they slandered me in that letter, but couldn't tell me what was said .just like you said secrecy.

  i raised an issue with a co once about an elders qualifications, he visited my house and in no uncertain terms said don't touch ark of covenant ( referring to elder as ark ) , i was gob smacked then he said to wife and i that if we pursued such an avenue we could be grieving gods holy spirit.

  so ther you go elder are on par with god ..

  If you look at Tony tight pants Morris bbq pics his son has tight pants , could you imagine these guys making the rules for new world order , I mean it would be hell on earth with the dress code and daily living rules . Tony will send angelic delivered scrolls from heaven on a weekly basis, non enforcement would be met with a divine flame thrower.

  Skim the surface... I know it is absolutely wise to NEVER talk to police except saying your name and address. The more laws a community make the more criminals you will have. Police are only interested in enforcing ANY laws that have been broken. In my country laws are at all levels of government local state federal. For example your dog has to be registered,cat has to be registered, above 18 yo need fishing license to fish, need license to own gun, need permit to construct any building above 10 square metres. Off-road bikes need registration if ridden in state forest, an extra permit needed to drive vehicles on beach, in the state of Nsw Australia if riding a push bike with no helmet it's $319 fine. The Borg is going same way as community more laws they love laws.
