  within the organization, jehovah's witnesses know that they must be dutiful and set an example for "worldly ones" as well as for their own brotherhood.

  if a witness fails in setting the proper example, they may lose some 'privileges"..... what privileges did you look to have and what privileges did you lose?

  The only privilege I can rightly call a privilege is the last steps of the walk out of the KH with head held high knowing I'm not coming back. We all lost waisted years in the cult , but one day out is better than a thousand in.

  Window Cleaners?

  like a lot of others here, i gave higher education a miss when i left school (1980).

  under the encouragement of the society i pioneered for three years instead!.

  now i clean windows for a living.

  I'm embarrassed to say I'm a window cleaner, I only work 20 out of every 60 days , brings in good money but I'm sick of it . I tore a ligament in my knee 6 weeks ago so window cleaning might come to an end soon.

  Watchtower Library Won't Run

  i have 4 computers that are all running windows 10 version 1703.. 1. laptop that came with windows 10 was updated to version 1703 - watchtower library runs fine.

  2. laptop that came with windows 8 was updated to windows 10 for free - watchtower library runs fine.

  3. laptop that came with windows 7 64 home was updated to windows 10 for free - watchtower library does not run.

  hello there.. my father just claimed that the good thing about being a witness was how they just let the bible interpret itself.

  now i know the irony in this statement, but i dont know what to show him that he just cant discard with some ignorant excuse.

  any ideas?
