  to jehovah's witnesses elders: blood transfusions are biblically supported: acts 15:20 says abstain from blood but 1 samuel 14:32-5 says saul's army ate unbled meat to not starve and no verses show god not forgiving them.

  christ says god also forgave david's eating temple holy bread to survive and that god wants mercy not sacrifice.

  (mt 12) the may 22, 1994 awake tells of 26 jehovah's witness kids who died without transfusions, and by common sense in massive bleeding as in car wrecks blood expanders won't save lives http://www.ajwrb.org.

  I raised the issue with 3 young sisters(16-20) yesterday on their way to a convention via MacDonalds . I say to the loung ladies you are dressed nice is there a wedding on to with they identified themselves, I raised the issues of blood fractions which they supported then I reminded them that it is meant to be pored on the ground. I asked them what happened to the JWs that Died who didn't take blood factions and later the leaders of your church changed it to a conscience matter. I was reminded of the resurrection hope to which I asked who replaced the mother so the children could have a memory. I said they didn't die for God they died because of a head office decision.

  I said some churches punished members for going to other churches, I said could you imagine Jesus shunning a 16 year old baptised Christian who went back to grandmas Jewish church. Then I asked could you imagine Jesus getting his new converts to send in reporting hours for their preaching assignment. I said if your church is using gods name just remember it was a catholic monk who put the vowels in the Tetragrammaton, I asked is it possible that God was directing the catholic monk.

  These poor kids were going to the assembly with more questions than answers, I said they need to question any religion that your not free to resign from without sanctions.

  Last Week's Watchtower had something that made people start questioning things?

  i just got a call from a friend who said that something in last weeks watchtower caused a number of people in various congregations to start questioning things, and several long time elders left.

  i am totally out of the loop but i do read things here and i heard of no such thing.. something to the effect that jw's and governing boobies are not inspired or something along those lines?.

  Your View Of Death How Much Does It Effect The Way You Look At The World Around You?

  lets face it the watchtower's indoctrinations effect the way we look at the world we see governments as tool of the devil.

  we look at our relatives different, we will not speak to our own children if disfellowshipped.. a better world is what christians promise believers, or hell for those condemned by the deity.

  kiss the ass of the deity and go to a better world, and don't forget to put something in the collection plate on sunday.. to face death with out the crutch of a future better world for beleivers, is better, as you can cherish the life you are living and be more in the present while facing what ever life throws at you.

  It's a one way trajectory, worrying about what you can't change or have control over is the demise of life. Give everyone a cuddle and tell them you love them and you won't have time for to much fairy tale thinking.

  LDC or Regional Building Committee?

  so i saw on instagram from one of the major uber elders from everett wa posted a picture of where he was staying for the week long safety training the ldc was putting on.

  well this "suite" had a full bar for one thing and everything else was quite fancy!

  he was complaining about losing $$ for a week since he had to go to this training but the accommodations were wonderful.

  Imagine a poor South American country getting hit with a typhoon and all the destitute brothers turning up at bethel and expecting mothership to feed and accomodate them for months until they rebuilt all the homes. If JWs do any charity works it gets shouted from the rooftops, but often behind the scam is an insurance payment to the WT for home repairs courtesy of free labour.

  My return to the WT...a terrible mistake

  i haven't posted for quite a bit, decided to share my thoughts on this one, so it is a reference topic for anyone who decides to return back to the org, knowing all about the tatt.

  being way for quite long for almost 15 years and all wt's activities, i have missed quite a lot including the "new light" latest updates, i found it quite hard to follow up what was going on to the meetings.

  new songs, wt broadcast, videos, internet (so wt now is in favor of the internet) cartoons, and everything seemed completely new and weird to me.. reason for going back it was the severe pressure from close family members to return back to the "truth".

  Justhuman14 don't beat your self up to much, often in abusive relationships the victim returns to the perpetrator . In all honesty some go back because of this need to know if God love them or not mentality.

  If Jw cult affected people are the main supply of rulers chosen to sit as kings on their own thrones in heaven , well heaven help us ! Can you imagine that a God of justice would choose the likes of any of the GB . These rulers are supposed tho judge all mankind , just think about that thought honestly , Rutherford Russell Franz sitting up there respecting each other's positions around the throne judging the innocent earthlings. And remember these are the pick of the crop of 144000 , not the crazy old sister that took the emblems and lived with ten cats.

  If there is a God and he is choosing honest hearted ones to rule with him I know from the bottom of my heart that the guys above aren't smoking cigars with Jah.

  JWs MUST Accept The Watchtower Teachings EVEN When They Are Wrong!

  isn't it unbelievable that a jehovah's witness must accept whatever the organization says or they can be disfellowshipped??

  unless they tell you that their understanding has changed, you cannot believe anything unless they say it's ok. .

  many years ago i questioned them about their ridiculous view that whenever the word "heart" was mentioned, it was a literal blood filled organ.

  when you were an active member in the jwland, did you expect to receive any kind of help from a brother/sister, but they did not help you?

  when i was in the jwland, i expected and was my belief that any brother/sister will help you in time of need, distress or trouble, because we were part of a "lovely organization".

  but countless of times when i needed and asked for help, nobody from the org helped me.

  Don't even get on the subject of old age care facilities , it's only the the pagan church's who clean the old brothers backside when he is 89 and wasting away , but wt will be sure to visit if there is an inheritance.
