  jehovah reminds me of married couples who are having problems who decide to .

  have children to improve their lot.. obviuosly jehovah can prevent pregnancy.. 1 samuel 1:5,6 .

  i was very much on the fence with this one, i never really cared.

  but i became curious recently, having had a few interactions with street preachers.

  The 12 Apostates you need to do your research for there many mistakes in the gospels that make people not believe. One could ask yourself why would god allow mistakes in his holy book.

  Some of the mistakes I’m talking about is the mention of the census like a previous poster mentioned. The man that ordered the census was alive at a certain time and Roman records prove it but he was alive many years after Herod had died. So in one gospel Herod is try to kill Jesus when he’s a new born but in another gospel there a census ordered several years later. Oops. There is also two different death stories of Christ. Two different lines of forefathers which they try to explain away one being Joseph the other being Mary but since he wasn’t related to Joseph that’s irrelevant.

  The list of mistakes is very long , there is even people debating if Jesus was actually dead three days. You can also look into the Bible book of sirac an Apocrypha book that’s still in Catholic bibles because almost ever wisdom sayings credited to Jesus was already in that book.

  You also mentioned zeitgeist in response to my last post and yes there are many things wrong with that documentary but have you ever looked into the similarities between Christianity and the Osiris cult? And no I’m not taking about Jesus being Horus! Check out the goddess Innana and her three days dead then resurrected story , Osiris three days dead then resurrected story where they ate bread and drank beer. Check out the new god created by the Greeks named Serapis, there’s a lot of good stuff out there but do your do diligence because there also a lot of wrong crap out there too.

  The PNW has pretty high property values especially in Seattle and Vancouver. If they want cash it makes sense to go after these areas along with California and parts of the east coast and that’s what they have been doing.

  the bible clearly says a generation is 40 years (exodus and job) the 1st half of the last century saw wars, famines, pestilence.

  if 1914 was the correct starting date the end should have came by the mid 1950's ( which the witnesses believed at the time) this fact alone proves beyond a shadow of a doubt.

  jesus was only speaking of the events of the 1st century..

  There are so many scriptures pointing to a 1 century fulfillment it’s crazy. The writers which wrote about it after the fact we’re talking about about the 1st century , I’m confident in that.

  i think most of our imaginations of the new world was probably nothing like the watchtower reality.

  after all, we jws are very good at avoiding uncomfortable truths!

  you can tell micheal jackson was a certain type of jehovahs witness.

  I believed and also thought Armageddon was going to be a major killfest but sometime in my youth or teenage years I just checked out. Yeah there were times when I thought I needed to do more , service meetings etc but in all reality I was still mostly checked out. Still don’t know why and have done a lot of soul searching trying to figure out when.

  I do remember once during a talk thinking about how the people of London had to flee under ground to escape being killed by German bombs and really thought that that’s how it would be for us neutral JWs. The whole idea was scary to a young kid so maybe that’s when it happen to me. I mentally checked out after my mind couldn’t handle it, I don’t know.

  here is the film anyone know it they used pyramidolgy to push the other previous dates like 1918?

  Nambo, Russel wrote in his book Time at Hand 1889 that Jesus going to attack and Armageddon was going to take place in 1914 he had already come invisible and taken his kingdom in the years 1874 and 1878. It wasn’t until his next book that he confirmed the date 1914 for Armageddon using the great pyramid.

  my family (both sides) are well known in our circuit and very dedicated to the truth.

  but we’re relatively normal people and i love them all so much.

  If you baptized then tread carefully be vague don’t say anything that could incriminate you and just nod and go along. Then after he leaves go back to your regular life and be with your family that left. The elders will only try a little to get you back and then will stop trying.

  There’s a ton of evidence that Jesus was just a myth a new god created from former gods. For one his travels around Galilee are not in directions that make sense. 2. Galilee only had a couple minor out posts and one little town. Jesus would not have been tried during the Passover week and the whole story about his trile and death at Passover was a telling of a previous festivals or religious act (can’t think of the name) where by the Jews would cast off one sheep with the sins of the people for the year in to the wilderness for the demons (Berabis) and then sacrifice a clean sheep (Jesus) to The Jewish god.

  Everything is just a story.
