Anyway coming back from my blunder?

my oldest boy got pissed that i started going back to meetings so i had one last conversation with him as he moved out.

(only went back to try and not loose whole family) during the conversation things got a bit heated and i mentioned a couple of false prophecies in the bible the rest of family heard so now they think i don’t believe at all.

guess their right think my going back was just a ruse, yes that’s true to.

Do I just give up move out get a divorce or keep going to meetings and claim lack of faith and trying to still rebuild it?

Fuck this shit they make it so hard to not loose it all if your not completely brainwashed.

I’m about to loose my wife and 4 kids. Went back to meetings to try and keep the family alive and they would have none of it. It’s amazing how they turn in you. I had said nothing negative about the cult in several years and only to one of them but it didn’t matter. Once you have a target on your back I guess they never let it go.

it's been reported on this forum that bethel speakers at this summer's conventions are asserting that the establishment of the united nations in 1945 was predicted in advance by the witnesses.

this is being presented as validation of the claim that the witnesses are god's one true organization directed by holy spirit.. .

What Do You Think About Banning Plastic Bags?

we need to save the planet so we have to stop using plastic bags!

in massachusetts, the new law will be going into effect soon.

if you go food shopping, you only cat get paper bags.. what is your opinion of the state banning plastic bags?

If they taxed the manufacturers of their products just ten cents or so the value of plastic recycling would go up enough for people all over the world to start recycling old plastics. And yes ban plastics like bags as well also bottles , go back to glass and put a ten cent deposit on them so they’ll be recycled. Good for everyone and this costs will be minimal

Reasons for the deficit each year is the baptized were also counted as publishers that same year and also their reporting peek number not average . Bottom line is their still loosing 1 million or more each decade . The growth from Latin America helped off set these loses in the 1980’s and now their claiming the new growth from Africa but in all reality you can’t have huge losses from the young ones and not go into decline . Try as they might they really only have about 5 million members and falling.

School task on Jehovas Witness

i am writing an essay on jehovas witness and i have a question for you.

what does a normal day of a jehovas witness consist of?

how is your day different from other's?

They go to two meetings per week at the local Kingdom Hall . One meeting is for about 1.5 hours on a week night and the other meeting Is for about 2 hours on Sunday. Their expected to go out in service door to door preaching usually on Saturday morning for at least two hours. Their expected to read and study for each meeting and have a family bible study once per week for about an hour.

All are continuously encouraged to go out in service as much as possible and to arrange your schedule to go out more but most only put in about 8 or so hours per month. They the leader push to keep the ones as busy as possible so the have no time to think about what’s they believe and what’s really going on in their organization. Most cults keep their members busy.

The numbers are bullshit so what if a couple of African countries are growing fast the rest of the world people are leaving in mass and with about 70% of the born ins leaving there’s no way they have any real growth. Oh and let’s not forget the 1000s of Kingdom Halls up for sale.

Generally Speaking Do You Support The Police?

i know bad cops exist in many cities.

i know some cops who aren’t “bad” but do have an attitude.

however, i prefer to have law and order as opposed to chaos.

No it’s been my experience there just crooks with the authority given to them by government to carry a gun and a badge. To many innocent people killed by cops including children to many people arrested detained and having their rights violated etc. to many people having their property and money stolen from them too.

The system is broken and needs to be fixed badly.

Who cares which translation of the Bible is more accurate it’s still full of contradictions, unfulfilled prophecies, mathematical and scientific errors not to mention it states the earth is flat in over 65 verses.
