Is it strange for anyone else going to family events and seeing family you havent seen(in my case years)So in my family we have 2 different kind of family events. Either with worldly friends/non disfellowshipped witnesses and ones that are witness only. I'll make my rounds at parties and say hello to mostly family. But then I'll sit down and enjoy the party and see who goes out of there way to talk to me. It's nice to see some of the people who you wouldn't expect come say hi and wanna know what I been up to.

Can some one please explain Deuteronomy 23:12-13
by Jayk inat a bible study when i was younger i read this scripture out loud and totally did with a straight face realising what they were talking about halfway through it.
i think i start reading in verse 12 "when evening falls, he should wash with water, and then he may return to the camp at sunset.+ 12 a private place* should be designated for use outside the camp, and there is where you should go.
13 a peg should be part of your equipment.

Makes sense. On a side note. My aunt told me something about Jod or some other people know the earth was round or that we're floating in space. I made the remark "could you imagine we where created by aliens or what you call a god is actually a alien" she actually seemed slightly open to the fact but quickly turned it back to accepting the bibles word.. translate it any which way you want but accept the bible as truth..

Why exactly was it needed in the bible? Or most importantly it was quoted in one of the books we where reading from a long time ago it was a side scripture we looked up at a bible study. I think the book at the time was called "walking with jesus" or something like that.. thought it was a good laugh now. I understand what it means.

Most likely man's doing yes, but probably disguised in God's doing."all warfare is based on deception". It's wacky to think that after a couple false prophecies people haven't opened their eyes. Im starting to feel alot of people understand what's going on. It's also crazy to think that there are "elders" who have never had kids going around telling people how to run there families...

by Phoebe ini am now officially 'inactive' so am no longer chased by an elder a for a report.
the congregation i belonged to never had much time for me anyway, i said once i could drop down dead in the k.hall and no one would notice.
so i never expected anyone to be particularly bothered that i wasn't there and they aren't.

I have a close friend of mine my age and is still in good standing with his family but doesn't attend meeting and was baptized. His younger step brother and I who we would be considered the younger brothers in our familes clearly get treated that way by my friend.. Even his step brother (they share the same dad but different moms) tells me he feels his older brother really is a spoiled brat. The real dad didn't have money. My friends witness mom got remarried and his step dad had bank. So his step brother who barely scraped by with the real dad just sees his older brother who has always been in and out of the picture. But not fully understanding who his older brother was or the life he had till he was 14.
