  I don't expect to learn much, I just want to understand what I'm up against. A example being, while growing up when ever my mom told me to do chores I could have told her "the bible says women are here to serve men" lol But in all seriousness I just want to understand what my family believes a little better.

  jw: didn't we just hear somebody say that the sun's gonna blow up?.

  me: well, they were saying that it will expand and eventually burn out.. jw: but it can't do that, it just keeps blowing up inside and getting more power.. me: well, they were talking about stars in general, how they have a life span.. jw: but god didn't make it that way, it's firmly established to time indefinite.

  it's not like the sun is a regular star.

  Uranium formed during supernovas(theres a bit more to it). It's important because when we study the decay of uranium and we can figure out roughly how old the earth is.

  My oldest brother goes to a prison and gives bibles studies and he told me one the people is a convicted murder. I always figured the JWs must think if they can convince a murderer he can be saved they can convince anybody.

  Tattoos?

  if seems to be quite fashionable nowadays for ex-jws to get a tattoo or a series of tattoos to symbolize either their time spent in the watchtower or their escape, and i kind of don't get it.

  i don't understand why someone would want a constant reminder on their body of such a horrible period in their life.

  on another forum, one woman shared that she was getting 25 bees tattooed all over her body to represent the 25 years she spent in the org.

  My step dad is a elder and has quiet a few tattoos. I have one across my stomach that's pretty "gangster" I've been told. I also have 5/8 guaged ears.

  i thought the flat earth conspiracy theory was strange but ive just read an article about a new conspiracy theory that the earth is hollow and that its a paradise there and 8 foot tall intellectually advanced aliens live there who send space ships out every so often to check on mankind.

  apparently lost viking colonies and nazis that fled there after world war 2 are living there immortally 🤣🤣 .

  this world just gets better and better 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
