i'm new here..spending most of my time on another board(followed someone here)...but i would like to drop in from time to time..if that's cool!.
i've been associated with jw's since '72...baptized in '74(just under the wire ;o)...part of those years serving as an elder and now...well...that's a loooong story!...just let me say that i had/have issues.. but we will not talk about those now!!

Path, Thanks for the Smashing Pumpkins tip. I've never been offended by bands playing obscure stuff. Maybe that's where we differ. It's a bands ability to re-invent themselves over the years that keeps me interested in them as artists. Geezer-rock bands like AC/DC are okay, but play something you weren't playing when I was a baby if you want me to shell out $75 for a ticket. Mick Jagger was once quoted as saying,"I'd rather be dead than be singing "Jumping Jack Flash," when I'm 40. It only proves that as long as you can put a$$es in the seats, who cares?

Path, Welcome to my world. Of course, they think you will see the light. If this sister is phoning you-you know she is interested in being more than just friends. What do you think the chances of staying friends with the rest of the family are after you tell the sister no way? Drawing from personal experience the longeryou draw this out, the less likely the chance you will remain friends. Why would a Mom encourage this? Because she's a Mom that's why. She sees qualities in you that would make a good son-in-law. She wants whats best for her daughter and she thinks you're it. You're going to end up looking like a jerk in this deal no matter what. The sooner this is resolved the better. Unless, of course-maybe you like her too, huh??

Tricks for SOUL CALIBUR
by Seven into play as edgemaster: after you get everyone available up to and including cervantes, you have to win with all the remaining characters-once per character to open up edgemaster.. metal model feature: open up picture 265. this will access this feature.
in the arcade/versus mode, hold r while selecting your character to get a metal-looking version of any of the characters.
multiple hues of metal such as gold and silver are available by selecting.

that becomes available in the art gallery after you finish the second Chaos Gate mission. If you select this option, the artwork from all fifteen galleries will be randomly cycled through. Cool.

Path, You would find Yancey's book, The Bible Jesus Read, to be a fascinating read. Go to amazon and read the reviews. Then decide for yourself if you'd like to explore the Hebrew scriptures that Jesus read and view Israel's God before he was ours. Another book of his I recommend is The Jesus I Never Knew. 7
