Bloodless surgery!!!

i received this e mail from a faithful dub who is all excited.

i got to thinking about it and now i am excited too.

since i am not going to change a dubs mind about the blood issue (brooklyn has to do that) at least i can try to get information out there so that those who insist on following the b.s.

Tina, I'm glad you're here. Re-visiting the trauma is giving me control over my these things-it's gradually losing its power. For so long I was only seeing what I wanted to see. What I was able to live with. I was not really living at all, only existing. I was running. Not anymore. It's such a relief to be able to turn and face myself and not have to look away. I had forgotten what true happiness was. I'm learning. Shame took alot out of me too-crushed my spirit. I've recaptured the joy I hadn't realized I'd lost. Thanks Tina for responding to this thread. I hope to hear more from you. Hugs back at ya, Seven

Larc, Hello. Another night owl, I see. Yes, my whole demeanor did change. Amazing what a little love can accomplish. However, I feel I still need therapy. I'm not finished yet. Sure last week was rough but
I'm learning so much about myself. I'm not running away anymore larc. I can speak aloud about what happened to me. Maybe not in a voice for the entire world to hear, but loud enough for my own ears. I can hear myself say "It wasn't my fault." I believe it now. I'll have bad days here and there I'm sure. Don't we all? Remember when Keith Olbermen was still on Sports Center(ESPN) and he would do injury reports on players, for example: "Patrick Ewing is listed as day to day." Then he'd follow this by saying, "But aren't we all." I'm learning not to let the traumatic events in my life define who and what I am. But I feel I need more help with this and this is why I will continue in therapy. Thanks larc for talking to me. Btw, I order the Ellis book from Amazon. I'll let you know what I think after I've read it. Tell Zazu hello. I haven't seen her around in awhile.

God's will or free will?

i've heard many people tell me about bible prophesy.

if the bible can predict future events then it stands to reason that those events are predetermined and man has no choices in this world.

think about all the choices you've made in your life and how different life for you would be if you had done things differently.

Mr Thinker, Man determines the outcome of history(free will), Jehovah the eventual victory of good over evil. How could we have ever experienced the depth of God's love for us or his blessing if all was predetermined? Without sin(the fall), would we know of a loving or forgiving God?

not too long ago i was talking to an acquaintance and the subject came up of how we really dont know even the people that are close to us.

i called to mind a funeral i did some time back for a friend of mine.

this guy was a great big, burly guy with a voice like a gravel truck unloading and a bone crushing grip.
