  Legalize ALL Drugs. Yes or No?

  i thought it would be interesting to get a cross-sectional view of your opinions on whether all drugs (lsd, heroin, cocaine, etc.

  be legalized so that they then became freely available to the general population, in the same way that alcohol and tobacco are .

  Just because you legalize drugs doesn't maen that EVERYONE is going to start using them.

  Exactly. Once the majority of the population gets this through their heads then and only then will things change. Legalization of drugs should be a gradual thing say starting with marijuana, which is a joke anyhow, and see what transpires. With the legalization of other recreational drugs, laws should be enacted forbidding users from filing lawsuits against the manufacturers for their health problems like the ridiculous tobacco give-a-ways. If users want to bugger themselves up-it's their lives.

  strike9 sucks.

  it's always slow and frequently doesn't work at all.

  plus it gave me a picture of a naked male in its random picture selection at the side.. all very frustrating, especially as i'm trying to upload a scan of iraq's network of nuclear bombs hidden under american cities (just joking echelon-people).

  I suspect that perhaps some politicos will take a look and just maybe a light bulb will come on and an investigation or two will result. On a personal note, I'll wait patiently for a friend to phone and fill me in on what transpired. After that I'll go out for a walk in the snow and try to send some positive vibes out to the little victims still suffereing. It's over for me but not for them. Every televised event is a victory.

  i don't want to bring anyone down, and i know it is important to hope for the best, etc.

  etc.. but.... why, oh why, couldn't the cbc fifth estate program airing this week be airing during a "slow news week"??????.

  all the news is about iraq, usa, dr. hans blix, weapons inspectors, yada yada yada -- not that those topics are not important, but i am really afraid that this much bigger news story will greatly drown out the very important story airing on cbc.

  Hi Quotes,

  You know the viewing habits of your fellow countrymen better than an outsider but I think that being as how potential war updates are available 24/7, the 5th Estate show will not be overlooked. Like Beans said, the show will air at multiple times and the information will reach the masses-finally.
