  How can we know there is a God?

  one way to determine whether there is a god is to apply this well-established principle: what is made requires a maker.

  the more complicated the thing made, the more capable the maker must be.. for example, look around your home.

  tables, chairs, desks, beds, pots, pans, plates, and other eating utensils all require a maker, as do walls, floors, and ceilings.

  Q. If America says it's had enough and runs home do you think ANY country would ever back any action it wants to take ever again? They would be a laughing stock IMO and be admitting that they could not deliver.

  Like Britain leaving India and most of it's other colonies aside from that falklands adventure in the 80s?

  Our New Orleans is gone.

  after talking to many of the evacuees from new orleans and watching all of the local coverage , interviews of surviors ,they are just thankful to be alive.

  they are also in deep despair over family members who they can not find, they don't know if they are alive or dead.

  not to mention the ones they know are gone.. there are so many are just heartbroken that the home they knew is gone forever .

  Yes and New Orleans is where it is because Huge Ships can dock there and smaller vessels can travel up the missisippi carrying those goods. If you built a port farther up the river on safer ground, it would only be traversable by smaller vessels and i assume that would affect the prices of imported goods.
