Why don't Witnesses indentify themselves at the door when in service?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy 17 year old daughter told me 2 men were at the door saturday looking for adults that lived in the house.my wife and i were out of town for 2 days.they had suits on and carrying book bags.
they asked if she was over 18. she replied that she wasn't.
they left without indentifiying themselves.

she thrust sticks down their throats when they misbehaved and made them eat dog food.. one daughter was forced to use a wheelchair for four years even though she was perfectly able to walk.. doctors, teachers and neighbours raised constant concerns about spry's treatment of the children but nothing was ever done by social services.. the catalogue of abuse only came to light when one of the children went to the jehovah's witness elders at the church the family attended.. spry, from tewkesbury, was found guilty of 26 charges of cruelty after a three week trial at bristol crown court.

The district convention starting line-up: Teenager who happily turns down college. Wife and kids who don't understand until daddy beats their ass. Old huff with 10 diseases who never missses meeting or field service. 10 minute prayer. Kid or women in high heels who falls over balcony and or down 20 flights of steps. Strange worldly man being chased by the attendants. 500 pound baptism candidate. Chain of boring speakers. And the drama where the brothers can't wait their turn to perform in drag.

Finally had it out.....
by zack ini told my wife i was going to sell everything: the houses, the investment properties, the cars, the boat, the business and give it all to the poor.
she accused me of being a hypocrite because jesus didn't have any of the things i do, including "a place to lay his head.
" so i lay down the challenge: i told her i would get rid of it all.... tomorrow.

am so tired of this crap. The GB is evil. Don;t make any excuses about how they are victims. Bullshi*. You can be a victim, but once you start to victimize others you are a VICTIMIZER.
So, uh, are you going to help the victims that are still "trapped" or are you going to just sell and walk?

Most Ex-JWs R Not Active in the Anti-JW Community. Maybe 1%? Any thoughts?
by Seeker4 inyesterday i called a family on the west coast that were in my congregation 18 years ago.
between parents, kids and marriage partners, there were six of them who had been witnesses.
they have all faded, and have had nothing to do with the witnesses for at least 15 year or more.. yet, none of them is in any way active even in looking at the ex-jw sites online.

I'm not sure what you mean by "draw more in".
If you mean draw them more to the truth of the matter(s)/ issues, than that is something that shouldn't be the sole responsibilty of the "ex-jw community". The active jws that actively participate here and elsewhere on the net, and off, bare an EQUAL RESPONSIBILTY in exposing the truth.
In my strong opinion, THAT is what is lacking in MOVING THE TRUTH.
I used to think of myself as part of the "exjw community". Yet today, I see that there really isn't such a community, persay. Much of that community spends a lot of time crying and coddling, as the policies of the Watchtower keep killing and terrorizing. I don't comprehend all that. It's maddening actually.
If they would only, and simply dotheir part in exposing this death trap instead of waiting, waiting, waiting...........
Years ago men like Randy and a host of others did the research and posted the facts for you, painstakingly. It is now, easily at your fingertips AND PRINTERS.
It behooves you to act on what you know and to actively warn others.
That is a "movement" I'm involved with IN MY COMMUNITY.
This board is a community of information where you can arm yourselves with insurmountable facts.
Take them and get out there with all you now know and stop crying about what you may lose. Suck it up. Many have lost their very lives. It's the least you can do....expose the fraud.
