Disposable, I agree with you no need for name calling here....not helpful. Anyways, back to the main issue here.... i think your wife should be thankful you helped her see the ttatt....i know I am! I can now live my life freely! It seems she wants to live it a little too free and that's not ok. What she's doing is not ok and I fear she might be cheating. Everyone reacts in a different way when woken up, and our true colors start to show. No you shouldn't have gotten into a marriage with a jw knowing ttatt because u initially lied to her and that's also not ok.....but I do understand that it can be hard to leave especially when you've been in it all your life and you don't want to loose your loved ones, and it could definitely be convenient when moving to a new city. All that said, you've both made mistakes along the way but don't let her treat u like this. She cannot blame u, she needs to blame the WT. Also, she needs to start acting like a wife or it's you who needs to start throwing around ultimatums!.... Sorry I don't try to be a marriage counselor but I really think she might be cheating. š

Be careful what you wish for (in case you want to wake up your spouse)
by nevaagain ini want to spare you a long post about my background.
because this topic is about something else.a small information is that i knew ttatt before i got married.
but then i somehow pushed it back for quite some time because i didnt want to change my life and it was convenient to instantly meet new people when you move into a new city.couple of years into my marriage and seeing all the changes in the jw my thirst for ttatt resurfaced.

Why do witnesses feel the need to put JW ORG on all their social media sites?
by stuckinarut2 inhave you all noticed the obsession witnesses have of putting jw.org on all their social media sites like facebook, twitter, instagram etc?.
so many put it in their bio section...like some sort of loud proclamation to other witnesses that they are righteous and spreading the message.. it's also very lazy.
now with no personal effort at all, they can just say jw.org and be "witnessing".

I had it on my instagram acct but recently took it off āŗ it's a way to identify yourself, like a proud stamp or mark..... and have others go to website.

It hurts so much that all my family will be seeing this crap (and other vides in RC 2016)....and I know how bad it's going to hurt them. But the saddest thing is that my husband and I are not even disfellowshipped and they have already taken certain steps to shun us. I have a newborn baby, just turned 3 months yesterday and his grandparents (on my husbands side)have not come to see him ever since they found out I was out too. Needless to say they don't invite us over anymore, we used to get together with the family every weekend. It's really hard dealing with all of this.
As for the parents in video, they kick their daughter out of the house for being a bad example to their other kids? Really? The girl makes a mistake and instead of helping her they kick her out so she can do it some more!

A question for NEWBIES , especially if you would have died for your beliefs , and / or if you have been a long time in the religion .
by smiddy ini`m just curious as to how you came across this site or any other "apostate" site for that matter especially now when the internet on the one hand is so demonized when it comes to the subject of jehovah`s witnesses , except of course for jw.org ,.
was it by accident ?
somebody has mentioned it to you ?

My hubby came to me with all his doubts and I was awakened, not by any apostate site but by examining scipture and realizing it didn't coincide with doctrine. Only after I was convinced this is not truth did I ever get into anything apostate, which my husband also led me to lol

Type / Antitype article discredits many JW teachings
by Sanchy ini was going over the type / antitype articles that were released in last year's watchtower articles and i've just realized how ironic it is those very articles can serve to demolish some of the most fundamental jw teachings.. take for instance the "questions from readers" section of the march 15, 2015 magazine.
after mentioning some "far-fetched" interpretations that others have applied to bible events, they go on to say:.
if such interpretations seem far-fetched, you can understand the dilemma.

Yeah it's crazy how indoctrinated we were when we were in that we didn't see these things, and such is the case of all active jw's out there. I think the WT has us so busy with their meetings and preaching and publications, and parts, and so on that we don't have time to truly study anything. And when we do "study" we just take in everything they say and we fail to see things, like this. This is a biggy....what were they thinking in the writing dept? They are so into their own bs that they don't even realize they have torn down everything they stand for! -

Feel so bad for people in your horrible situation, just remember that she is a robot. Once your out its sooooooo easy to see all the wrong, horrible things this cult brings....but when your in you are blinded. Be patient with her, and if not having any spiritual conversations with her is the best way to go because one or both of you get too heated then so be it. I wrote an article recently explain how my husband got me to see ttatt and one of the things I wrote was never putting org down in any way because the org IS jehovah. Well now as I try to explain my reasons to other family members I realize how hard it is to not do so! I don't know how my husband had so much patience with me. Anyways hang in there and don't let this cult tear your family apart. She has to see the light in her own time, in the meantime don't let that ruin your life....waiting for it....it's going to drive you crazy! Just live life every day and enjoy your family and agree to disagree. -

by Sanchy ini was reading this week's study article on remaining loyal to jah.
found an interesting contradiction on shunning.
they cite two experiences.

āThe only way you can relieve your pain
is by returning to Jehovah,āAnne wrote.Yeah this is blackmail at its best! I know it got my hubby (Sanchy) really upset with this article, it's so hypocritical it's not even funny! I've seen this before but not in the same article, pretty stupid....and yet jw's will not even see the hypocrisy because they r so blind it's sad, can't believe we were once so blind....

Love your story! My husband and I also came to realize ttatt, he showed me the light. Can't wait to live life free of guilt and judgement, we too are planning on ways we would like to sin lol my husband wants to vote and I wanna decorate a Christmas tree! Although I might feel pagan and awkward when I finally do....will this jw indoctrination ever go away?..?

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome....i truly hope those of you still struggling with a spouse that is in can one day reach them. I actually had my second baby boy on February 26 and it was about a week later that I came to my realization about ttatt. Needless to say my husband is thrilled and now calls me his cute apostate wife. :-)
Terry -thanks for all the advice I will definitely keep it in mind.
Pete Zahut - thanks or your reassurance in my sanity when it comes to my kids! They are almost 16 months apart. Can't wait for them to grow up together and of course without all the jw baggage we had as kids.
Giordano - as I said, I'm obviously lost right now as to what I believe but I still want to believe there a is a god...i deffenitely respect everyone else's beliefs now though, something new to me. :-) jw's are very close minded when it comes to that or anything else actually.
Thanks again everyone!
