if you suffer from anxiety and panics, the problem could lie with your heart and not with your mind.. you might have mitral valve syndrome!http://www.mvpsupport.com/.
i know what im talking about because i have mitral valve syndrome.
years ago, i would sometimes become totally panic stricken for no reason whatsoever.
Englishman,
Thank you for posting that information. I have those symptoms. It started after September 11, so I figured it was anxiety attacks. So I got on an anti-anxiety medication. Which has helped greatly.
I'm wondering though, if I do have that condition
1.How would I find out?
2. Is it harmful to be on this medication?
How did you find out that you had it?

anyone from south africa?.
better if you know about ngo
how left or right are you?
are you a libertarian or an authoritarian?
which political party comes closest to your views?
if you were a good little 'raised in the truth' jw then the answer should be 'yes'.. so let's here from you.. [stands up] my name is montag and i was a 22 year old virgin on my wedding night.. .
-m-
I wouldn't say I was a "good little raised in the truth witness". My mom started studying with the witnesses when I was 11 and didn't get baptized until I was 16. My dad never got baptized and only came for memorial, special talks, assemblies, you get the picture.
So, with that in mind, I did manage to remain a virgin until I was 19. At that point, the elder's son that I had secretly dated for 3 years on and off couldn't keep our hands off of each other any more and did the deed.
We didn't end up getting married and the witness that I married had also lost his virginity to a "worldly" girl.
So, there ya have it.

i don't know if this q has been brought up on the forum, if so i apoligize, but i was just thinking about this today, and wondered how many here left or are thinking about or trying to leave the b-org as result of the un fiasco?
how many do you know of that left due to this?.
seedy
Seedy,
I am one who left because of the UN shenanigans. Although I will have to admit that I never was a very devout witness. But I always walked around with huge guilt over never feeling like I was doing enough as a witness. Or I was doing the "wrong" things. I accidentally stumbled across the UN story when I was looking up information on witnesses being banned in certain towns. I was FLOORED, I could not believe what I was reading. That opened up a whole new can of worms for me and I started reading anything I could get my hands on and the guilt just went away and I've never felt freer. When I mentioned the UN thing to my mom, of course to her it was a non-issue. Oh, well, to each his own.

saudi crown prince abdullah delivered a sobering message to president bush on his visit to america this thursday about the dangers of it's continued pro-israeli policies.
while agreeing that the issues are complex and problematic, prince abdullah issued a strong warning to the united states.. "please dear god in the heavens above, do not make us oppose you.".
although afterwards bush preferred to speak of the meeting favourably with reporters, describing the talks as "pretty damned ok," abdullah spoke of clear dissension on matters of american policy.
