by Dismembered inanyone remember what the 3 "secret sins" were, that the gb counselled us on in the late 80's & early 90's.
we were admonished to turn ourselves in if we were guilty so "da elders" could help us deal with them.

Would you rather have more time or more cash?
by Leander init seems like unless you're incredibly wealthy or lucky that its impossible to have both at the same time, especially if you're a working stiff.
right now between my wife and i we make a fairly decent living, however we don't have a lot of time to do things together (or alone) until the weekend comes around.
and we all know how short weekends can be, not to mention if a lot of errands need to be done that can eat up your time fairly quick.

Weird??

this is kind of strange, everyday i find a penny, on a parking lot, floor of a store, driveway, or whatever.
yesterday i hadn't found any money, i didn't think about it until i started to get in bed.

As usual. MrMoe, very well put. I am, and always have been, a selfish person. I want both. I gave up so much of life...of me...in the name of accomplishing god's work, that I find I soak up everything, and want, want, want...not materially. I never have wanted "things"...but experiences, travel, shows...all takes money. Forced to a choice though, I want my time.

Ken..Those pennies you have beem finding? They are mine.
Seriously, my husband and I find change all the time. We started putitng it aside to see how much we find in a year's time. We began April 15th (easy to remember) and we already have over $5.00. A friend of mine insists it is the way the universe is telling us we will be cared for. I say, if the universe is that concerned, let us start finding fewer pennies, and more quarters...or even paper money!
Seriously, again....people drop money all the time. They bend over for the quarters. They leave the worthless pennies. BTW, have you noticed that people NEVER drop nickels????? HbH
