A question for those of you who were raised in the cult
by siegswife inwhen i was a jw, i often found myself wishing that i would have been a jw from birth.
that way i would've avoided many of the mistakes i'd made in my teenage years.
now, after reading so many of your stories i've realized that many of you didn't really believe it when you were young.

Blame it on the chingus

What should I do?
by siegswife inthis isn't jw related, but i was hoping to get some feedback on a problem that i'm having.. here's the deal.
yesterday my downstairs neighbor told the maintenance man that she want to shoot us (my family).
i've known for about 2 years that she has some mental problems and was somehow focused on us, but i didn't realize to what extent.. two years ago, around christmas, we came home from somewhere and saw 2 christmas cards laying on the rug outside our door.

Man, my head hurts...
by siegswife indiscussing the wachtower with an active drone is worse than the morning after drinking a bottle of tequilla.
it's worse than banging your head against a steel wall.
it's a freaking effort in futility.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
by siegswife inthe elder that was studying with my husband last year called him last night.
during the conversation my husband told him that he's been finding out some troublesome info about the jw's, like their association with the un.
he also mentioned that he has a problem with the way they treat members who raise questions about the teachings of the society and the way they treat ex members.

Come on, rex, answer the questions...
by siegswife ini've searched in the bible to find references to the death of an unborn baby.
the only reference i can really find is in .
exodus 21:22-25 if an unborn person is considered to be equal to a born person, why isn't the punishment the same for its accidental death.
