i realize many here think that in-person meetings will return as soon as things are safe with covid.
but many acknowledge it will likely be 2022 or later when this happens.. surprisingly, many pimi jws in our congregation are not shy about saying they are fine with zoom meetings forever and do not want to go back to in-person meetings.
many speculate similar thoughts that are on this site....such as a combination of in-person and zoom meetings.
Here in the UK many churches have been having Zoom services or Bible studies. Unlike with the WT this hasn't been compulsory but lots of churches have used technology to keep in touch .
However l know that the members of my church , by which l mean my local church , can't wait to be able to meet in person again. .

Well here in the UK our vaccination programme is well ahead of any others. I am 65 and am due to have my second jab on Friday. I haven't heard of any problems caused by the vaccines .
The Astra Zeneca does seem to make people feel a bit rough for 24 hours ( l experienced that after my first jab) .
However l haven't heard of any other issues

I totally agree that everyone should partake in the Bread and Wine .
I still don't see this 2 hope teaching as valid. The quote from Revelation says specifically 12.000 from each tribe . And no one has commented on the Great Crowd , who are in front of the Throne

So JWs stop at verse 8 in Rev ch 7 . What about verses 9- 17 ?
It it's true that some have one hope and others a different hope why didn't Jesus say " This teaching is for those with the heavenly hope and this teaching is for the others " ?
Also verses 5 - 8 make it clear that the 144 , 000 are Jews that have been saved . So how can any JWs be part of the heavenly hope ?

As a non JW l get very confused about this 2nd class teaching.
Is there actually a difference between eternal life , immortality etc ? Where did that distinction come from ?
I don't know of any other denomination that has that teaching . It has always seemed to me that's another ploy by the GB to keep that distance between them and the r&f .
