  hi everyone , how are ya'll ?

  l have a question particularly for any americans on here .

  l have an american friend from la who has recently been trying very hard to investigate bill gates and his foundation , she has shared quotes from a lot people making very serious accusations against bill .

  1. when individuals leave the organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that god is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work.

  when people leave another christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.. 2. when a christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie.

  when a jehovah's witness lies, he is proving his loyalty to jehovah and fulfilling his sacred obligation to engage in spiritual warfare.. 3. during times of rapid growth the organization claims this is evidence of gods approval as he "speeds it up in his own time".

  Do JWs know the scripture that says that Satan is the father of ALL lies, l wonder

  As someone in a church with paid clergy l can testify that they don't " lord it " over people . In fact l always get the impression that JWs are much more scared of their Elders , Overseers etc than l am of my vicar, which I'm not .

  So now it does seem , according to evidence from " reputable " sources , that Bill is not the nice guy that he appears to be . I put reputable in quotes because l am getting very confused about who can and can't be trusted .

  I do still wonder why the larger media groups in countries other than USA , like our BBC , haven't picked up on any of this . Or does he own that too ? Yes some sarcasm there because his enemies would have us all believe that he rules the world .

  i ran across a pretty early treatise.

  we were all taught that "real" christianity was lost to history and was only restored once russell and then rutherford restored it so that the wt could be appointed as god's "mouthpiece".

  but, aristides wrote to the emperor hadrian and gave a pretty good synopsis of core christian belief in 125 ad.

  for pimi pimo persons: give us one text that says those aspiring to everlasting life should not partake of the bread and wine.

  in the article, the whole proposition of refusing the emblems is based on the personal experience of one brother in the 1930s.!

  all jws partook.

  Yes Waton , exactly. The idea that some people qualify to take the Bread and Wine and others don't just isn't in the Bible .

  I agree the Bible can get complicated but really it's the Gospel ( good news ) message that's needs to be kept in focus at the heart of it all.

  Christ died for our sins and rose again so that we don't have to die forever . Simples.

  Quite honestly l see no difference in eternal or everlasting or life without end etc . These divisions seem to have been made up by the WT . Looking at the Bible as a whole l don't see any evidence for a two tier system .

  Where does Jesus, Paul or any of the other writers say " this teaching is for this group , not for that group " ? All the same teaching was given to everyone. Paul boasts that what he received from Christ is exactly what he passes on to ALL the followers.

  These complications are just WT inventions to keep JWs in line and faithful. They feed the distrust of mainline churches who ' have it wrong '

  That's my take on it .

  Canadian Residential School Deaths

  in case you haven't heard, they just discovered the remains of some 215 dead children at a so called canadian residential school.

  they couldn't call it a death-camp could they ... it would be too obvious.. these were where indigenous children were taken, forcibly, in order to "educate" them out of their native customs and languages and make them integrate with society.. unbelievably, this was still going on in the 60s to 90s.. of course the catholic church has their sticky fingers all over it.

  what is it about those creepy bastards?

  I have just been made aware ( via fb ) of a petition on CARE2petitions to demand a search for all unmarked graves on the sites of residential schools. I have signed and l think that some of you may like to do the same .
