God created perfect. However he gave mankind free will and ' sin ' came into the world.
I think of it like someone who had devised a perfect computer programme and a jealous rival snook a bug in .
Not a perfect analogy but it helps me

i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.
amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.

Teddnzo , but those same good friends would drop you like a stone if you dissasociated. Is that true friendship. ? Yes l know that they do it out of ' love " but they won't care how much it hurts you or how your life goes after that. In fact if your life takes a downward turn it will be your own fault for leaving. Not because your friends are now ignoring you .
So it's working you stay in out of fear.

The whole teaching seems to be based ( used loosely) on cherry picked verses taken out of context.
It's really surprising how many emotionally and mentally unbalanced JWs there are !!! That is always the go to get out card ." You don't believe us any more - mentally diseased " ," you think you are anointed- mentally unstable "
The whole tenor of the article is condescending, the questions suitable for children.

Ron and Tonus thanks for that information. I am not familiar with the history of the Memorial in the WT
On another thread a comment was made that Jesus only told the original 11 Apostles to keep taking the bread and wine . I cited 1Cor 10 : 16 as proof that in fact the whole church had adopted the practise and Paul was totally ok with that. As long as people approached the Sacrament in with the right spirit
It has also occurred to me that if it was only the 11 who were originally instructed to partake how come even now after all the changes the 144 , 000 can
Non of the ' logic ' makes sense to me
I can find no Biblical evidence for the WT teaching . I have asked but non forthcoming.

LHG , l see your point. Time and again l have to remind myself that l just don't understand the mindset of the fully immersed rank and file .
To me me the loss of such fickle friends is no loss at all . Then l remember that people who shun think that they are doing it out of love .
It's just so screwed up .

I get that maybe you don't want to lose contact with close family members, although it's actually their choice to shun you .
Is it so dreadful to lose contact and be shunned by JW " friends " ?

My grandmother called my mother
by Anony Mous inso, i’m just posting this as a warning to lurking jws.
if you’re still on the fence, here is a story.. my grandmother, now in her 80s hasn’t talked to anyone in the family for over 20 years ever since my mother was the last one of her children that left ‘the truth’, she had sent my mother a card to never talk to her again.
so here we are 21 years later, she gets a call out of the blue that she needed help, she hadn’t been able to get into her kitchen.
