These measures were only implemented a few days ago , no where near enough time to see how effective they may or may not be.
Yes it could be a disaster ( Darling ) but any economic changes need time to settle in .
If this were a Labour government implementing some controversial measures then Labour supporters would be saying ' give it time ' .
For me the clue is in the title Opposition Party . Whichever party is in power and even if they are doing a good job ( ? !!) then the Opposition will oppose , it's their job . So l find it very difficult to take any ranting seriously, it's what they are there to do .

I wouldn't label myself " a born again " Christian because it seems to be an American label and unfortunately tends to conjure up a picture of religious nutters .
I am a Christian ( have l ever mentioned that? ) . I don't feel angry , don't like everyone but we aren't told to , just love them , and don't feel the need to be defensive. As Vanderhoven said most , for want of a better word , ordinary Christians are pretty happy people . We should be .
I often hear the saying " hate the sin but love the sinner "
I think that JWs are taught to hate and ignore persistent sinners because that label is often given to people who have rejected the Org . Leaders are obviously worried that the light will spread infecting others. So divide and conquer seems to be the strategy.

Rattigan , I'm not sure how JWs preach Jesus . I rarely hear Witnesses mention Him . It's Jehovah this and Jehovah that .
Punk I'm sure that you know that the Orgs version of the Trinity is nothing like Christendom's Trinity.
We don't believe that Jesus was Michael so a huge difference. If a Witness could actually explain where that comes from l would be interested to find out .

The word Jehovah does not appear in the New Testament .
The WT inserted it to support their teaching .
The Churches of Christendom preach the Trinity so equating Jesus with Jehovah.

My mom died.

Hi Noni , my Condolences on the loss of your Mom .
I'm British and , l suppose , a Royalist. I too feel very sad about the Queen's death . She was a constant in all our lives, the one person always " there " . I'm 66 and my own Mum died a few years ago .
Maybe seeing and hearing how loved Her Maj was by her children makes you sad that you didn't have that with your Mom .
It's probably had that effect on anyone whose relationship with a parent wasn't as they would have liked . You aren't on your own in that respect.

Anna as often happens in discussions with JWs you are ignoring the pointed questions. The ones about the false prophecies, which make them false prophets according to God's word .
The ones about encouraging people to sell houses and cars and donate the money to the preaching work pre '75 .
The ones about non of that money being returned when Armageddon didn't happen .
Who says that Jehovah gave His name to the Org ? Well they do .
I could CLAIM that Jehovah has made me His representative on earth and take hundreds of thousands of pounds off people . It wouldn't make it fact
