apparently, joe biden will be seeking re-election for another term in the white house.. this, despite a recent poll showing that 70% of people don't want him to run again.. biden just has to be the worst president i've seen.
his gaffes, over-relience on a prompter, and, more than any other president, his refusal to answer journalists' questions, all go to make him top of the list in terms of bad presidents.. it will certainly provide entertainment, if nothing else..
No my church doesn't approve of abortions in general. However we don't try to force our beliefs on everyone.
When 12 yr old rape victims are forced to give birth. When women are forced to give birth to dead babies that doesn't seem like loving people.
I don't recall ever reading that Jesus or any of the early church leaders ever talked about forcing non believers into behaving in a certain way .
All the letters giving instructions were written to people who were already believers.

The states banning abortions and books, stopping school meals etc are all run by Republicans. You don't think that a Republican government wouldn't make that nationwide ?
If those things are indicative of Republican priorities then Heaven help America .

Republicans banning abortions and books would be good for America ? Republicans voting to end school meals and voting against raising the minimum wage so that people can afford to live would be good for America?
It seems to me that America is stuffed whatever happens.

acts chapter 2 clearly shows (in jw minds) that door-door preaching was a must for all converts.

...and on that day about 3,000 people were added.
I read and reread the above quote from Acts and could not remember ever reading in the Bible about door knocking.
So l checked my NIV Bible and no , nothing about doors or knocking.
Then l looked at the Greek in an interlinear version. There is NO MENTION of the words door or knocking.
So it seems that the Org. have been naughty again.

JeffT l agree that America could well be heading for civil war . As an outsider looking in l started saying months ago that the potential for blood in the streets was growing. The country seems divided on politics , race , religion and economic lines as never before.

today, i received a call from my oncologist nurse.
she informed me that i will need to sign a consent form for a blood transfusion.
the doctor will see me next wednesday to go through the consent form with me.
What everyone else has said.
Also when Jesus healed someone on the Sabbath and the religious leaders had a go at Him he said that it was not breaking the Sabbath laws to do good and heal people. So saving lives is more important than rules .
Life is sacred and Jews have no problem having blood transfusions because they understand that life and saving lives is not banned by the blood rules . They are about the sacredness of life.
