Those Bethel speakers can really be disconnected morons. I asked one for a refference that he referred to a few times in his part that I was impressed with. This is when I was a loyalist. He immediately asked me why i wanted to know, that I didn't need that information, got very defensive, and downright rude. I said....."so you're not going to tell me the name of a refference book? For real?"

Then we were interrupted.

2014 Event

i know its a year away but i wanted to inquire about the hundred year anniversary of 1914. it would be amazing to have a world wide event reguarding all exjws.

i am nowhere near capable of putting this together but i'd like to propose the largest assembly of exjws ever on october 1st 2014. can it be done?

am i the first to bring this up?

I don't want to throw wet blankets, and I am 100% down to help in any way an annonymous guy can. However, do JW's really care about this 100 year anniversary? I mean, even IF they thought about it, would they even care?

Maybe some of you have been away from it longer than me, but I don't think it will be a blip on the radar.

in appealing the conti case why why did the wt retain non-witness lawyers?

they are from the world!!

There are at least 4 JW's here locally I know that are lawyers. 1 is lead counsil for the Conti case, another is a corporate attorney for the WT corps.

I think there are a few more out there than many realize.

), and was never as sensational and garish as other sites which immediately scared me away.

Its well done and represents alot of hard work. It does the polar opposite that a site like "six screens" does.

Honestly, I think the respectful tone of discourse and kindness in outreach cannot be understated in its power to reach minds.

If you come off as angry or a lunatic, you just reseed the thoughts planted in the mind of the typical JW about "apostates".

Yes they do not have faith in the morality of their own members. I tend to share your viewpoint on this and other matters. One thing however, if the homeowner was a good person, and they put it all togehter, would they ever REALLY donate to anything other than the WWW? I mean, do you know JW's who have given money to charities run by secular organizations or (gulp), religious institutions?

I think no matter what money would go back to the branch. I didn't realize much of the building material was donated by other groups. I wonder if they knew it only went to JW's or if they even cared.

Its amazing how the branch will "take advantage of Satans system of things" whenever they get the chance.

Yes Chaserious they do. For suggesting that anything short of going to the police was irresponsible and wreckless, I was "unfriended" on facebook,a nd he deleted his FB account. No doubt he is aware of the dangers the internet can bring.

Dude was mid 30's, married to a nice girl, friends with people I respect, not a dummy.......but man when you hand over your ability to think to fear, you just lose so much.

how can some body get away with such blatant lies and deception was beond me at the time, now i know differently.

So since the tablets don't neccesarily have anything to do with the chronology, the society is basically stating 607 in there to make it SEEM as though they are related?

recently i had someone contact me on facebook, thanking me for helping her awaken from indoctrination.. i am always interested in finding out the mechanisms behind people "awakening," so i asked her what i had done to make a difference.

it turned out i had left a complimentary remark on one of her youtube videos (she was singing a kingdom song) and she learned ttatt after clicking on my name and seeing the so-called apostate videos on my channel.. i don't think it was any of my own videos she ended up watching - from what she described it sounded like someone else's video that i had "liked.

" nonetheless, it was enough for her to become inquisitive and start exploring, and before she knew it she was free from mind control.. the moral of the story?
