When the President is going somewhere to talk about an infrastructure bill, and wants support for ever more endless spending, some of which is for bridge reconstruction, having a bridge collapse on the very day and in the very place he's going just seems "too perfect", doesn't it?

Tennis Controversy in Australia
by smiddy3 inapr 20, 2020. novak djokovic sparks a backlash after publicly opposing the covid-19 vaccine.
he says: “personally, i am opposed to vaccination, and i wouldn’t want to be forced by someone to take a vaccine in order to be able to travel.”.
asked by sky news australia anchor danica de giorgio why djokovic was granted the visa in the first place, the home affairs minister said: “they’re entirely separate processes”.. “to gain entry to australia you need both – you actually need the visa, which is determined quite separately, and then you have to meet the entry requirements,” she said.. “i know that people are putting the two issues together, but the visa application process and the granting of a visa is very separate to the additional entry requirements that every traveller needs to meet to be able to enter australia.”.

Remember, we need EVERYONE to be vaxxed in order to protect the already vaccinated from ... erm, wait, wut?
Australia has lost the plot, but then they have been an authoritarian human-rights abusing crap-hole for a while now.
Anyone claiming that someone with natural covid immunity from an infection has to get vaccinated, is not "following the science" - they are voting for government power and control.

Boris Johnson must resign
by LoveUniHateExams inon may 20, 2020, boris johnson's private secretary sent out an e-mail to 100 staff asking them to enjoy the sunshine in the downing street garden, adding they could bring their own bottle.. at the time the uk was under a harsh covid lockdown - people could meet up with up to six members of their own household, and only with one person from another household, socially-distanced of course.
the prime minister attended this party for 25 minutes but his excuse yesterday at pmqs was that he thought it was a work event.
as excuses go, this one is right up there with 'the dog ate my homework', lol.. boris johnson must resign - if you force harsh rules on people but break those same rules yourself, it's surely game over.. his private secretary should go, too..

They show that they don't actually believe all the lockdowns are genuinely necessary. They do them because they like the power and control, and a submissive population.
These are not trustworthy or serious people, they are buffoons.

Are You Concerned About Inflation?
by Simon ini saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.
that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?
they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.

And still it climbs - the "official figure" is past 7% now, the highest rate for 40 years, and Biden wants to piss even more money away on even more spending.
That's the fudged number though - the real rate is now well into the high teens, possibly 20% or more.
We're past the point of this being contained or managed, all they will do now is print more money to try to hide the problem to protect their own immediate re-election chances.
Canada and the EU are in the same boat as the US.

that makes the vaccinated super spreaders of the new variants
Exactly - but it's OK for them, they have a passport that allows them to by showing that they adhere to the government demands.
'cause "we is doing da skience!"

If it was about science, getting vaccinated and boosted would be based on whether you have antibodies or not.
It's about control, which is why they don't want someone unvaccinated but immune due to previous infection "undermining" their control.

Lloyd Evans going off air for mental health
by mickbobcat ini don't agree with evans on lots of things.
he seems to be a person who dove into the whole woke crap thing.
on the jws i agree with him most of the time but that goes without saying.

Yeah, if you need a break just take a break - no need for any announcement, certainly not a whole opera about it.
I'd put money on either something else going to come out or a future request for financial support to help him continue his "activism".
But I really can do without seeing his fat ugly mug on my site.

Poor Llyod
by notsurewheretogo inlook...i've had my beef with lloyd aka cedars and some of the stuff he says or does but equally i respect what he is trying to do and what he has achieved in terms of waking people up.. he intimated he had mental health issues years ago but his video today is brutal...i see pain in his eyes and he is suffering.
his family come first and the man needs to heal.. yes he has issues that many on here see but its not the man that is important but his work.. but the man needs time to heal mentally and i wish he does so.
he deserves that despite the feelings and things that have happened in the past with the exjw community.. he has done so much for the exjw community in general that i hope all give him a little clack and he returns.. if any of us did what he did we may be in the same boat but none of us do...see past the man and see his work but equally the man is suffering and it is pretty sad...i hope he gets better soon.

1. No one forced him to do anything, he chose to try to make "activism" his career. Personally, I think that is reckless, especially for someone with a wife and young kids.
2. "Work" is sometimes difficult and challenging. It has been especially so for many these last 2 years.
3. Taking a break can help. I'm not sure people need to make such a dramatic announcement for taking a couple of months off.
But it doesn't sound like the issue is really anything todo with the ex-JW stuff and is more todo with his family or marriage (I'm guessing). Maybe the announcement and plea for privacy is to pre-empt something ... who knows.
Whatever the case, he's made threats several times over discussions of his videos on this site that he isn't allowed to moderate or control, so I prefer not to allow them to be posted or discussed because I have better things to do than deal with crazy.
The few interactions I've had with him and seen others have with him convinced me that he's unstable so I prefer to keep my distance.
