  first of all… i am ok. i was robbed at the gas station this morning.

  after my hands stopped trembling, i managed to call the police.

  they were quick to respond and calmed me down, but all my money is gone.

  It was about profits for the Candian oil company TC energy Corp vs. the legitimate concerns of US citizens.

  I find it amazing how people don't understand commerce. Guess who profits from selling anything? The seller! They get the money - it's how trade works!

  What do you expect happens when you order something from Amazon? You get to keep the money and get the product you wanted? Of course not, the seller profits from selling the goods and you get the product you wanted. Even Homer Simpson understood that "money can be exchanged for goods and services".

  It's the same with oil and gas - the US wants it because the US needs it because the US uses it. That isn't changing anytime soon. The only question is who do you buy it from, and instead of buying ethically sourced oil from the closest ally, Biden ensured that the US instead has to buy it from dictators and has to compete with other idiots who also made themselves dependent on them. So the price goes up.

  Its simple supply and demand. The supply doesn't match the demand, so prices rise.

  Supply can't be provided because the pipeline doesn't exist. You can rabbit all the propaganda you want, but anyone with half a brain can see that western governments have pursued some pretty dumb policies when it comes to energy supply and they are now paying the price.

  Whether that is the US trying to pretend that it won't use oil, to Europe thinking wind and solar will replace nuclear, it's all made us more dependent on the Saudis and Russia, a devastatingly dumb and short-sighted plan driven by faulty science and propaganda.

  Ironically, some of it Russian propaganda that the left normally sees everywhere.

  Biden's very first act as President was to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline that would have supplied the equivalent amount of ethically produced oil that he's now going round the world grovelling to source from dictators and human-rights abusing regimes.

  That was a situation created through corruption, incompetence and virtue signalling. We now know that his family have crooked deals with Ukraine, so it's very likely he makes decisions to screw normal Americans for personal profit.

  Nationalizing O&G is not the solution, see Venezuela. It's why leftist idiots create a crisis in the first place, to dupe the foolish into supporting policies that would make things 10x worse.

  There is nothing that governments provide that isn't more expensive and less efficient as a result.

  Costco gas was $1.64 CAD per litre when we filled up earlier in the week, equivalent to about £0.99 GBP

  Costco is often 5-10c cheaper than regular gas stations, and it's going to go up on April 1 when Trudeau's money-grab of a Carbon Tax goes up (same day their own astronomical pay rise kicks in ... must be nice to own the press eh?)

  Canada has some of the largest oil reserves in the world, but due to the liberal idiots we import Saudi blood-oil from half way round the world on the basis of "climate" (more oil gets burned transporting it).

  The same reason energy is expensive in the UK and Europe, due to short-sighted and mis-intentioned "green policies" that do more harm than good. Oh, and help create wars. But it's what the liberal fascists like.

  Was he privately interested in the details those CSA survivors were giving him in interviews? Did he ask certain questions about the abuse because he was turned on by it?

  Yeah, it's a simple equation - someone who admits they can't control themselves sexually and sees nothing wrong with "using" women, should NEVER be seeking out victims of sexual abuse. It's so inappropriate to be laughable for someone to not see that, and yet he's still doing his "nothing wrong" act as though everything is OK.

  It's not.

  But he doesn't care, because his main focus is making money off people. Everyone is simply an asset for him to use - whether a girl, sexually, or a volunteer providing their time for free. It's all about "what can someone do for him".

  In this particular case the woman is doing of her own free will what she wants to do. There is also nothing wrong with someone voicing a concern about it in a private message.

  Absolutely. Even interviewing people who do sex work, when you claim to be a CSA advocate, is really "off" and if he wasn't such a pompous ass he'd appreciate the valuable feedback someone was giving him privately. To then make it public so he can play little miss victim about it, very bad etiquette.

  And if being associated with sex workers through interviewing them raises concerns for how it looks to someone professing to be an advocate is bad, that means he can't be surprised that going off to regularly use prostitutes for many years, some half his age is thoroughly incompatible.

  His complaint seems to be that they were nice and encouraging, as you should be to any kid auditioning. Does he honestly want them to say "your child is shit and has no talent"?

  Kind of weird and unbalanced to make it into a complaint in the first place, but to then interpret the comment as someone having a go? Odd.

  Whatever the situation, whatever the message, Lloyd seems to interpret it as an attack and him as the victim. One has to wonder how he lives and interacts with people in the real world ...

  i'm interested in your thoughts.. the media tells us a lot of agenda driven propaganda.

  you're hard pressed to spot truth these days.. however, i'm told that the rona is now just a rotten flu and not the plague we were originally terrified in to believing.

  last time i heard it was down in the hit parade to 16th nasty health thing.. all the people and family i know that have had the rona, have been complaining it's a very crappy flu.

  Last I heard they were going back and revising the covid death data, an admission that it was never as bad as they made out. Next you'll hear that the treatments that could have helped weren't used for political / commercial reasons. Many more were killed due to bad medical treatment.

  Expect that there will be gaslighting and no apology to any of the people saying the truth at the time who were variously banned from social media, fired or whatever.

  Ultimately, it was more about political power than healthcare, but we all lost out on both.
