hey, guys, i'm sorry if i did anything to offend you yesterday.

i havent had alcohol in over 14 years, but i was having a psychotic experience.

a bad case of ... (brummie dots) ... triggered it.. for a while there i thought i had found the true source of the unverse in ... (brummie dots) ... and i wanted to make sure all of mankind knew of ... (brummie dots) ... and that all they required to be worshipped was a little .

random task and i are having a healthy beautiful little girl (amelia sophia), they uped the due date from may 14 to may 9. it is just what we wanted we are so excited.

Uh oh, we got caught

we are so busted.

i learned tonight, from my source, that someon saw our christmas tree and reported it to the elders.. rats, our days of anonymity are likely almost over.

starting tuesday, the local congregation has the circuit and the district overseer, before their ca next weekend.

Dave said if they call him on the phone and ask if we have a Christmas tree, he is going to ask that elder if he masturbates. When he is shocked that he would be asked such a personal question, Dave will tell him he won't answer personal questions either.
I thought it was hilarious.

I think that's hilarious too......as everyone else has said! Glad you are not threatened by this turn of events. I hope you can continue to see your friends.

Hats (I'm Going crazy)

if anyone could help and wouldn't mind, i'd be so grateful.. i am looking for those floppy bucket/fisherman style hats.

i've searched the stores and it seems a million web pages.

i haven't found what i'm looking for.. a plain floppy cotton hat in a solid,dark green or army green.. my head is hurting.

My dad got one, I will have to ask where he got it, but if its ever lost or stolen, he simply sends in a copy of his receipt and its replaced. I forget the brand.

To be honest........you can still go to the meetings and not be df'd or da'd and be considered a jw if you don't go door to door. You are simply considered "inactive" ....... lots of jws are doing it.

Let me say, for the record: I am certain that Jackson and Peterson are guilty.

Now, for Scott, based on the limited information we have knowledge of as the public, I would have to say, "not guilty" ....... it's all circumstancial, gut instinct, profile, etc........If I was asked to speak as a juror with the limited knowledge that I have in my back pocket, I would not be able to convict.

Do I THINK he is guilty? Hell a yeah.

Heathen...... the only people who are instructed to view you as innocent until proven guilty is the JURY. The judge has to act with impartiality but is not instructed nor bound to view you as guilty. As stated, the police arrest those whom they think are guilty.....obviously they don't arrest peoplet hey think are innocent. The prosecution prosecutes people that they BELIEVE are guilty....they are not up there fighting for a presumption of innocence but fighting for conviction. The audience of the court, the media and you and me are free to view a person HOWEVER we choose...we as free thinkers can presume a person is anything we want. It is only the jury who must not presume guilt.

The elders wanted to study with my son.....

...so i just found out.

apparently, the last time my son went to the kh with his grandma (which was quite some time ago), a couple different brothers asked him to study and he turned them down.

not suprising - but what did suprise me is that my mom said the brothers then went to her to talk with her about it.

I think that it's ludricous they would try to by-pass you to get your own son to study. Even though wives with unbelieving mates are instructed that if the husband says no bible study for the children, they are to obey!! They are to be submissive to the direct command/instruction from the husband. I have known many wives who were forbidden to study with the children but were instead to teach them about God in an indirect manner......by talking about their own faith, or their own reliance on Jehovah and by going alone to the meetings and out in service....... so if the wife is INSTRUCTED to do this......why would ELDERS feel its ok to go around the mother......... probably cuz she is a woman.
