The article is just another example of manipulation of the JW’s mind. They are trying to infer that god sent the women a JW to the door. It amazes me that the most powerful, loving, kind god of the all the universe would answer this middle class well to do woman’s prayer while ignoring the cries of innocent children. If cherry picking stories was a sport JW’s would have the gold medal.

by RayPublisher inthe watchtower has chided its members repeatedly for many years about not reading anything it deems unsuitable, especially when it is composed by former members.. interestingly, the new march 2013 awake magazine pages 10-11 has an article about a woman that studied and then converted from judaism to jehovah's witnesses.
there are three key points in the article that actually encourage those with discernment to go against the watchtower ban on books written by those with dissenting views.

I need some advice please!!! I'm torn on what to do.
by Gojira_101 inthis morning i woke up thinking about a friend of mine, i will call her sara...here's some of the back story.. we grew up together and have always been good friends, even though we wouldn't stay in touch, we would just pick up where we left off.
sara has always been different, and i never really knew what it was growing up, but i didn't care, she was my friend.
so we lost touch for many years and then about 4 yrs ago when i went back to my home town, we reconnected.

Very well written. I notice in one story you mentioned that Russel taught that 2520 years started from 607 when in fact he taught that it was 606bce that would have put the end of the gentile times at 1915. It was changed later I believe 1943 when they found out there is no zero year between 1bce and 1ad. As usual they couldn't even do simple math and had incorrectly come to 1914. They should have just been honest and changed it to 1915 when the mistake was shown but hey it's a cult and ww1 started in 1914 so they just changed the date to 607 almost 30 years after 1914.
