  witnessing to the Jehovahs Witnesses

  i live in canberra in a suburb called lanyon valley.

  lanyon valley has a working sheepfarm and a homestead about a mile from where i live and was once considered the extent of the british empire.. there is no church presence in the lanyon valley except for lvac short for lanyon valley anglican church but today the witnesses were giving out their literature door to door they had allready delivered their 'one man died for all' leaflet to my house.

  i jumped in the car and raced two streets where a large group of them were planning their next move.

  I say awesome we all looked that one time and for me it only took once to learn the ttatt. Witnesses spend billions of hours to get their clutches on a few people our conversion rate for open minded people could be close to 50 percent.

  Horrible story my heart goes out to both of these poor women. All I can add is when it happens to us" aka apostate" some witnesses are almost overjoyed. It is somehow ok cause we are offspring of satan and deserve any fate we get. This is the hardest part of being an xjw is their own cold callous treatment of us while we love them so much and only hope they would give us a few minutes to explain our love for them.

  Are we all bitter?

  i posted a link on fb that lead to a topic here.

  i then had one of my 'friends' start having a go about how bitter everyone is here....fact he said.

  (he used to be a jw elder but left a while back, not sure why he left or if he has even researched the faith since leaving) the more i tried to reason with him that actually it is a support forum, the more he lashed out that everyone here bad mouths the jw's and only attack the jw's.

  You must be an apostate 00dad. Cause not only do smurf t-shirts have beards. Little stuff animals walk out of kingdom halls, If you pray you will get a nock on your door, If you are a rapist and answer the door you will see two big burly men behind me that are angels, If you quit your job (only to pioneer) Jah will bless you with a better job. Now better in that cleaning another mans bathroom is awesome cause you have days to go in service. Also we are the happiest people on earth, really just ask us, really we are happy so happy, no really i love toilets, really meetings are fun real fun! I love to underline.

  Apostates are easy to spot. They are hunched over foaming at the mouth with crazy bloodshot eyes. They almost always have a smurf t-shirt on with beards.

  This is a 1950's style religion that is still trying to sell their Vacuum cleaners and encyclopedias door to door. I think the little leaders in a compound in New York know they can't beat the internet. All they have left is fear mongering.

  Vajeni that is very true. I still find myself having a hard time around people and trying to conform to my group or wondering if I offended anyone. Being a born in that mindset on conforming, not saying the wrong thing and not making waves is hard to break. I am still trying to find the real me and I really dont know if I will ever really know and wish I could of had a normal childhood.

  okay first i'd like to point out that i'm not a book worm and i probbaly don't have much experience when it comes to the bible.

  i just don't understand god's pourpose and the jws point of view.

  fisrst, if god is love and kindness, couldn't he give a second chance to adam and eve?

  It seems that the Dungen doors are shutting with them inside. I really thought after last year they may start to loosen up but it looks like they are going to try and save the sinking ship all the way to the bottom of the sea.
