  i would like some advice from those that are inpartial, and are familiar with the teachings of jw.

  i studied with a wonderful jw couple weekly for 3 years.

  Here is an easy test. If you have the truth you would have no fear of lies. Go to jwfacts.com and ask them to look it over with you and show you where he is lieing. I can almost guarantee you that they will refuse and if you keep trying leave ASAP. Truth has nothing to be afraid of.

  i recently became aware of the new light.

  please correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't this new light concerning 1914 means that the wt have been preaching the wrong doctrine for decades?

  The watchtower has a 100 percent failure rate when it comes to date predictions. It may be a lot to take in but I have spent thousands of hours looking into this religion. You could write a book thousands of pages long on their false predictions. Here are a few dates that needed new light remember this is just a few. 606, 1799, 1874' 1878,1914,1915,1918,1925, a few things that they also have changed belief in pyramids, Moses would be ressurected and preach with them, vacinations were banned, organ transplants, alternate military service, generation teaching, faithful and discreet slave is their fourth change to this doctrine, cross, rapture, king of the north, Zionism, disfellowshipping was once taught as a pagan pratice, membership as an NGO with the United Nations and on and on. With research you can find all these things and many many more. If you felt I have not been truthful in any way please let me know and I can get the the year date and page from the watchtowers. May you be blessed on your journey to the truth about the truth.

  My mother, sisters have never met my daughter. Why? I disagree with some of their teachings. Ask the jw if once babtised and I disagree with the governing body and talk to people about it what will happen to all my friends at the Kingdom Hall. If they are honest they will say you will be disfellowshipp and no one will ever talk to you...thousands on here are going through the exact same thing. Also as was said look up jwfacts.com. You will not believe all the things jws believe and once believed. They have said the end of the world would happen in 1914, 1918, 1925 and other dates. Ask them if they said the generation that was born before or on 1914 would never die.. Don't let them fool you jwfacts has all the watchtower quotes With dates you can look up. Sad to say many jws don't even know about these dates because they are never told about them just like yourself. It is hidden. Look up the bite model online under cult mind control. Your eyes will begin to be opened.

  JW history buffs questions for you.

  i was reading the book 'time at hand' by russell dated 1889 volume 2. in the book russell says that the 'day of the lord',' day of trouble' started in 1873.. i thought he was with boubor on the time of jesus so called start of his heavely kingdom to be 1878, of course after boubor prodicted 1878 as the year for armagedon and it didnt happen so he substituted "his presence" instead.

  but this book seems to state other wise??

  please advise.. also after russell's perdiction of armagedon in 1914-15 did happen, didnt rutherford say some thing to the effect that 'yes the time had ended the gentile times, and were now in a new age and thats why that generation would not die etc.

  Yes that was me. I feel we have been emotionaly abused by a cult. your article is about the after effects of sexual abuse. Not to belittle her in any way but I feel my experience is just as life altering except she has family, friends and society to help in this regard. I was left with nothing and was told it was my fault. My sin I questioned a few men in New York.

  I wonder on a scale of abuse this would compare to losing your mother, 3 sister, every adult friend you ever know, all your childhood friends you grew up wit, being fired from your job by a jw after a 5 second announcement was made. Then they all got together and talked about how loving it was At the age of 22. Oh the government has laws protecting THEM. I wonder if it would also have an effect on that person.

  some of the comments on the anthony morris topics have been despicable.. if someone is an idiot or a biggot then they are damaging themselves.. if 'we' start posting vile filth, insults and threats then it doesn't convince anyone other than we're probably as bad..

  Saul it is hard to just move on when you realize your family is in an abusive religion. not all governments are created equal. Does my country have problems yes but would you say they are all the same? I would not want to live in North Korea where if my father spoke against the state I would then be thrown in A labor camp to die. Should I just stand bye and allow people I love be abused bye what I believe is a cult. I have a daughter my mother has never seen why? I don't smoke, married to a beautiful wife and try to live a moral life. It is the watchtower that won't leave me alone. My mother is told I partake of the table of demons, mentally diseased, willfully Lie in order to turn her from god. This forum would not exist if honest and open discussion of my beliefes could take place With a Jehovahs witness. What kind of person would I be to just turn my back when we have honest and truthful information about a religion of my birth that exposes that they are not telling their followers the truth. I personally had a friends father die by not taking blood. Should. I not do all I can to prevent this from others? Saul I am glad you can just move on but I can't I won't.

  Anthony Morris and Disneyland "the Magic Kingdom"

  in his talk the turd said disneland is ok cause he took his kids there.

  isn't disneyland known as "the magic kingdom" why in the world is it ok to go to a magic kingdom of fantasy and make believe with wizards but a kid playing with a stupid wizard toy makes jehovah sad.

  how can the turd be ok with thousands of magical toys and rides but at the exact same time tell them to throw those same toys in the trash.
