I have always found it amazing that they would ban polygamy. No were in the bible does it say a man cannot have more than one wife. It only said a deacon should have not more than one but is not a ban. Also who are they to have a man throw out his wife or wife’s who are his responsibility and I am sure had children with and what order and what wife he can keep. I find this just another example of a group of men trying to play GOD and going beyond what is written. Is there anything in the book about slaves? The bible doesn’t ban that either but maybe they let this pass cause in a sense they look at us as nothing more than cattle.

Hello Flipper JP here thanks for the call several weeks ago. You are on a rampage today!!!!!! OK I worked for a JW elder and I was the one who found out he was stealing from the owner. Now that is bad but I found out he was stealing before he became an elder. I guess the Holy Spirit was on vacation. So I guess that gave me some pause. Now I was in a library and what did I see David Reeds book Jehovahs witnesses answered verse by verse. That was it never stopped reading after that then found CC and ISCF and I was fired up. Went to the elders to tell them the TTATT and well we know how that goes. It showed me how shallow and just plain stupid they were in regard to the bible so I DA myself. Problem was my poor wife had nothing to do with it and they called her to a Judical meeting. I said you will NOT go I am your husband, sorry kinda sexist but she followed my rules. SO she was DF for not showing up and get this she did nothing WRONG but not show up. I hate these people. A bunch of Janitors with power.

Yesterday Grandpa died a faithful JW.... or was he.
by cyberjesus inyesterday at 3 am my grandfather.. 95 more or less... passed away after a heart attack... i got the call at 8 am.
so i am the oldest grandson (out of 40) he was faithful, (thats what they want to say) reality is he wasnt, he cursed, he drank, he had plenty of women during his life.. he was an elder at some point and he was ultra good with everyone.
he had a heart of gold... he treated me as his son, he never cared about my status.

I looked to him as a father. I feel you loss. I was with him two hours before he died. My x was their. I brought her out of the lie that was the watchtower. I guess I can say even though we didn't make it I am glad I taught my x wife ttatt.

This is no joke my x step father in law died last night. He was never jw but but he went to meetings towards the end to make his wife happy. I heard he is going to have a jw funeral.

Dreaming about JW's
by d inlately i have been dreaming a lot about old jw's i used to know and be friends with.
i have been out since 2008 but yet i think often of those i liked a lot at the kingdom hall.
i do not get it why do these still thoughts still come?

Why not let them in Your home and witness too them? I love when they come to my door. I just ask a few questions and it is wonderful. We are educated about their beliefs why not start a conversation. We all needed a little help to learn the ttatt and I feel it is are duty to do so.

Blondie I am getting tired, tired, tired, tired. I know what we do here helps thousands myself included but I am starting to feel personally that we are preaching to the choir. Maybe it is my born in jw coming out but I really want to preach an outreach ministry to jws personally not in a chat room. I am at a lost on how to get my family to somehow see the light and am almost to the point of starting to place litature at Kingdum halls. The lies from the fds are almost too much to handle and I am waking up at night thinking jw doctrine and debating myself to the point of mental exhaustion. any pointers to help
